Passing Assistance

Hi there,
I have a question about the Passing Assistance. I have it set on FULL, but my players tend to pass the ball to the wrong teammate a lot. Like when I have the ball on the left side and I want to pass to the CM (8 meters away), sometimes it passes the ball superhard to the CV (35 meters away) while I only tapped X very short. Does this change when you have the Pass Assistance set to two or three, or is this just a bug?

If it is on 2 or 3, you have more control over the power instead of the cpu deciding it. I strongly recommend 2 passing assistance as that is the balance between the perfect settings. Pass support 0 is bugged and gives you misplaced passes

set it to 0, it's a bit awkward at the start, but after a few exhibition matches you will be able to pass those lovely lofted 30-45 meter through balls to the wings. Every now and then, at least...

i had a problm with this pass assist on PS3 playing online.
the game was slow to react to keys.

finally it was fixed when pass assist was put back to 0

I tried 0 assistance, but that doesnt work well for me. I'm gonna play with 2 assistance today, see if that results in more accurate passing, or at least passing to the right players. Just another thing. When my LB has the ball, I sometimes press R3 to let my LH run forward. But when I then try to lift the ball over the defenders with L1 Triangle lofted ball, it gives a strange lob to the CM or AM, who are in the centre of the field (even when I have the power ball full and aim for the left corner). Is this typical for full assistance, or will this also happen at 2 assistance?

^^^It happens at every assistance. The aiming in this game is weird - sometimes when you aim it somewhere, you have to be so exact, it's unrealistic.
I was once on a counter attack, and i had to pass it to the wing and the ball went out for a throw in when my sb could have easily got it. It's so frustrating

btw, what do you think of the 'select player assistance' I have it on 'some help'. Is this the most usefull one, or is unassisted better? (I have it in Dutch, so I do not know how it's called in English, but I mean the level of assistance when picking a player with L1, )

I have tried that manual one, where u don't use L1, but that's not working for me..

Passing and shooting is messed up in this game, no matter what the assistance level is. Some passes that you want to go far are really short, then on through passes the ball flyes at 100000mph way ahead of the intended player even if you just tap it. Shooting feels wrong, even if you figure out the directional issue which works maybe 75% of the time the shot power is all Fkd up. I don't understand, Konami had these things down pat in previous installments, why go ruin them???

The only pass which is messed uP is the throughball at times it works perfectly others you will do a quick tap and the ball races off out of bounds.

I play with manual second player as like the fact I can make them run angled runs into space. If it's assisted the player will just run straighT. Issue with the control is that it's so hard to cycle through players. Say you are the lb and you have a ok and a cf as your options it's hard to cycle tO the cf to get him to make a run rather than getting stuck on the LM

I use passing assistance on level 2 and have found this to be a happy medium for me! I am really struggling to find the game challenging in terms of skill levels. Professional is too hard and regular is too easy! I'm not sure what the answer is. I mixed the settings up by putting it on regular but turning down the passing assistance all the way. This seems ok but some of the passes really don't go where I mean them to go. I will keep fiddling with the settings and try to get that ultimate gaming experience!
