Hello all

Has anyone devised a way of patching PES3 with one of the various patches and burning it to a DVD instead of a CD before I start wasting time attempting it myself?

its designed to be put on to a CD so that people can waste with error. I mean to say that you'd be more pissed at wasting a dvdr than a cd? Get my drift?

I'm trying to aplly fishcakes patch and it says to use ppfomatic3. How do I create an ISO file of my DVD?? The only instruction fishcake gives is to apply the patch on an unpatched ISO file.

No probs stoneman I'll give it a go when I get to work as its their DVD's and writer I'll be wasting, thanks for the advice as it is similar to what I'm gonna attempt to try, cheers mate

After a lil reading I have made a working dvdr from a patched pes3 dvdrip. I have also tested with a patched we7i-rip.
All the info needed is in the guide How to put DVDRips and CD Games on DVD, i don't know how to upload it here, but you can d/l it from psxforums.

Thanks Jamin good shout, I can now confirm that I have a working DVD from a patched jonboy's 7.2.04 pes3 dvdrip. It takes the hassle of out of trying to load the CD version swap disk which isnt as reliable at loading as the DVD version. (on my PS2 at least anyway)

I suggest you download the final version. Apply this patch to a dvd image of the original game using ppfomatic.
