patch will and won't work

i just patched we7 and found that it won't work (i have a messiah 2) it plays my backup of we7 just fine,but when i use a patched version it just to the ps2 format disc screen.to make matters worse i went round to a m8s and he has a neo2 and it booted 1st time!!!
pls can n e 1 help or put me in the right direction.

Strange situation. Maybe you need to clean the lens of your own PS2? Out of interest, what speed did you burn it at?

how old is your console bash, my solution is that their is dust or something preventing it to boot. Try a can of compressed air.

Have a go with the PS2 on its side - maybe that could work.

Hey bash, has anything changed using the above suggestions?

I am using 4x at the moment due to a problem with my software. My version of Nero had a minimum of 2x which I used for WE6:FE but when Nero was "updated" it changed the minimum speed to 4x. But this seems to be OK although I'm trying to get it back to what it was.

i burnt one of my we7's at 48x and my ps2 sounded like my dells cd-rom when its installing. only happened once though.

try changing your configuration settings on your ps2 at the browser screen. may work!
