I recently ordered Slide card and swap magic3 from psxservices. I followed the instructions and I think I installed the slide card properly. I also downloaded the jonboyo patch of lomuntung and folowed the guide of making your PES3 DVD into a CD for patching on the sticky forum. However, when I boot up the backup disc I cretaed, the screen goes red and the outside of the screen keeps flashing in a red/pink colour. I think I may of done something wrong whilst following the instructions on patching the game or I may be using the slide card wrongly. I have also used up many cdrs in the process.

Please could any one help me out? I am desperate to play patches PES3.

I used the 5.1to7.2.04.rar patch off lomuntung in the 5.1.04 folder that is in the pes3 ps2 folder

You will need to download the 5.1.04 first, which is like (120-135mb) and then patch your .bin. After this then use the 5.1.04 to 7.2.04 and patch over the same file. Remember, use the bigger patch first.

I remember reading one thread that said there was something you could download that lets you continur the download if the internet connection disconnects. Maybe I shall try that.

Thanks for the advice. I have just seen that it can be downloaded off lomuntung. Hopefully I will be playing patched pes3 tonight or at least tomorrow.

PLEASE will someone answer this question? I followed the guide step by step and it still wont work. Its annoying knowing that I have the slide card option for my ps2 and the two patches downloaded.

can you tell me if the patched kits are saved in the option file after it has been used or are they kept on the patched disk?

If they are in the option file, would it work if I copied my friends option file (patched disk) onto my memory card (original game) and then tried to play it on mine.

I wouldn't really know because I can't even get my patched game to work but i would predict that you wouldn't be able to copy a patched option file and play with it on a normal pes3 disk as everyone would be doing it. Also, you need a chipped ps2 to play any games or files to do with patching I think.

Also could any one please answer my question I made earlier;

Scan for errors with CDmage or ECCRegen and then repair the corrupted sectors.
