The best patch is the PES-X-PPF patch.
Right let me try and clear this up once and for all.
On a patched game you can get(depending on the patch) better kits(most of the time) than an option file, more ad-boards, different in game music, better chants, different in-game backgrounds, team call names etc etc.
But an option file only can do the kits(to a reasonable standard im sure), balls(maybe not), player and team names, flags etc, basically anything you can change in the edit mode on the game, so you wouldnt get those masses of flags and banners that the supporters are waving about (seen a wicked screenshot of behind a goal, hundreds of flags and banners, gave it a feel of the real atmosphere of a football match). Also you cant get the different chants and sounds from the crowd, cant change ad-boards, in- game music etc etc.
So am I right in saying that until i get the hang of this patching malarkey (or wait till my mate does it for me) I should just download an option file for the time being(at least the kits will be updated more than I have them now) and then when I get round to it I can get a patched version because I can just play the game with the option file I got now (I edited the team names myself and kept up to date with the transfers....but only got some of the player names)....cause it seems to me that if you get a good patch then an option file is only useful for keeping up to date with transfers and correcting team and player names, also formations and stuff, if thats the case what is the best option file(if i decide to not use the one i got) to work with the Team-pes-x Ppf-patch (oh yeah, does this have the maximo chants) that you suggested.....Phew!!!
