i'm expecting winning eleven 7 in the next day or two. i'll be using the handy screen translations from this site but i was wondering do you think there will be a downloadable xport file to translate the game.

winning eleven 7 will be my first japanese game so i'm a bit new to all this.

There is already an x-port option file in the General section.
It translates all the players and clubs to English and has done the major transfers of this summer.

The thread is called something like
"New WE7 Option File..."

I guess I found

I guess that I found one English Translation version on Emule, not the fake one, it has 1.5Mb, and it from the same team that made the WE6E translation... I'm on queue for this file, if this is a real one... I'll set a link on my server for you guys download it, with ppf-o-matic 3 tool to apply the patch...

Which one, larsson?
I've found 2 on P2P, one is 423Kb and the other is 858KB.
If we have found the same one and sort it out, we'll save wasting too many CDs.

Edonkey and emule have bogus files. How can you download a PS2 bootdisk?

You can't download a boot disk as they have to be 'pressed'.
What's that got to do with the patches? Some files will be fake but some could be real, seeing as the translation file will be very small.

Just dowloaded a small one, about 150 kb, it was a fake, in a couple of minutes I'll be ready with the 1.5 MB one, I'll let you know. Which program do you use, I use edonkey.
