Is anyone attempting this? Any suggestions on the best way to go about it?

I've tried to apply files form Agimar's patch, but I'm geting errors in GGS due to size differences. I did however get the the cv_0 done, and various .img files from cv_1. Logos have changed but I'm not seeing the EPL kits.

I also tried replacing the unnamed_25 but the team names are still showing up as default.

Regardless of lack of interest, I'll upload a usuable rv_u when I get home from work, there are a few files that are different from the available rv_e files.

The biggest problem when trying to import individual bins (boots, balls, etc)in the cv_0 and cv_1 is theres a difference in file size if around 2-5 kbs... Does anyone know a way around this?

Also, when trying to import Agimar's cv_0 it says file is smaller, but It also allows the import. The cv_1 says file is too big though. And like I mentioned earlier, i think something in the param needs to be edited because I still couldnt see the EPL kits in game.

1: cv_0 2: cv_1 3: rv_g.
Here in my game USA is not the file rv_g then as I do? And also when I go try to replace the rv_1 says that the file and very large. What to do now?

And also I saw a link to download the rv_e, I was the link and realize the download so that Pes2008 USA also do not have this file rv_e.
As I do to enter this file in the game?

I need the file rv_g or rv_e?

I am sorry for both of questions and because I am a novice in this industry and I am sorry for my English I am from BRAZIL and am using a translator.

paulitix same problem here i could only import cv_0 the other ones keep saying too large probably if we rebuild the file like the others we n pes, but how in the xbox 360

Paulitix - It's not lack of interest, we're all trying to figure it out.

As you said, Agimar's cv_0 imports fine (although smaller than the original). I did the same thing as you with rv_u. I took steveomilan's rv_e, extracted all of the files - and pulled the ones I wanted into my rv_u (which kept the file size the same).

So that leaves cv_1. When I extracted the original from my iso it was 638,612 (623 MB). Agimar's cv_1 is 641,692 (626 MB). I tried to "minimize" Agimar's cv_1 with GGS, but that only shrank it to 639,970 (624 MB) - still 1 MB too big. So... I'm still not sure what to do here. I don't know if we can "borrow" the extra space we created when importing cv_0. I've tried messing around with the "modify reserved space" function, but to no avail. I'm not sure if you can alter the iso size, and still have the 360 read it. The only other thing I can think of is to do the same thing we did with rv_u. Meaning, extract all of the files from Agimar's cv_1 and pull them into the original cv_1 one by one. I know that sounds ridiculous with 721 files (as opposed to a hundred or so in rv_u), but I don't know what else to try.

As for the EPL kits... If you played the game before playing a patched version, I think you need to clear the cache on your 360. See below, but note the warning...

To clear your Xbox 360 memory cache, do the following: go to the "System" blade and select your console's hard drive. With the hard drive selected, input the following buttons: Y, X, X, LB, LB, X, X. A message will appear asking you if you wish to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices. Select "Yes," and within a few moments your Xbox 360 hard drive will clear its memory cache. Keep in mind that clearing the memory cache will remove all software updates that you may have downloaded for other games, so you'll need to go and download the updates again.


Let me know if you make any progress on cv_1.

Gonzo, I was being facetious about the lack of interest thing, but I am glad that I'm no longer talking to myself in this thread...

I remember we used to have to resize the afs back when patching on the ps2, but these .img files dont seem to show up properly in AFS Explorer anymore (the cv's at least).

The modify reserve space implemantation in GGS is far from user friendly.

There is no rv_e or g in the US release. It uses rv_u for english and rv_s for spanish

On the files rv_g and rv_e I do not add these 2 rv, and add only the cv_0 and cv_1?

Here are a few more that need the logos updated...

logos_83.bin --> unnamed_71.bin

The logos_83 looks like it still has German writing, but I think it looks better with the real Champions League logos.

Extract all of the files from rv_e. Then inject the files Paul listed into rv_u.

I'm not sure what you're saying about the misc files. They are league logos.

Is there anybody who already try to clear Xbox 360 memory cache? and how is it? is it really affected, I mean...do you get EPL kits completely after clear the cache?

So, I have all images inserted as needed...but the param wont fit. And of course this is one the most important files of a kit patch. Tried toying with modifying reserve space, got it in, but then the .iso wont let me import the now bigger cv_1 (of course not, this was the original problem, stupid). So, I'm stuck, and at work, so at least 12 hours till I can get back at it.

Any ideas? Help?

After toying around with AFS Explorer 3.7. I manage to get the cv_1 reduced to 623mb, but now I can’t go into edit mode or exhibition the game freezes it shows the entire team name correct and play the music file fine.
