@rg11 - i'm using frenchchronik patch also, and i did param_dat_27 and i mixed with cs.img from steveomilan, and replace unnamed_25.bin, but i couldn't get epl kits at all, is there anything wrong with what i did? and also how to replace files one by one in cv_0 as some people said and done (if you only want to get kits), because i tried by using GGS program but it didn't allow me to replace (like click and drag) and i don't know how to extract cv_0.img either, help me please!
ivan_fk2002 - There are a couple different ways to do it, but below are step-by-step instructions for the method I used. It might look like a lot, but it's been tested and works.
What you need:
- Clean PES iso
- FrenChronik cv_0 and cv_1
- Game Graphic Studio
- AFS Explorer
1. Create two folders on your desktop called "FC Insert Files" and "ISO Files".
2. Open FrenChroniK's cv_0 in AFS Explorer (File -> Import AFS File -> Change "file type" to "all files"). Say 'no' to any prompts.
3. Highlight and export (right-click -> Export) the following files to the "FC Insert Files" folder on your desktop...
unnamed_3145.bin - unnamed_3220.bin
unnamed_4169.bin - unnamed_4244.bin
unnamed_7915.bin - unnamed_7952.bin
unnamed_8118.bin - unnamed_8119.bin
4. Download this file, and extract it to your "FC Insert Files" folder.

5. Download this file and extract it to your "FC Insert Files" folder. (This will over-write 3 files already in the folder, so say 'yes' when it asks to confirm the over-write)

Your "FC Insert Files" folder should now have 308 files in it. Close AFS Explorer.
6. Open your clean PES iso in Game Graphic Studio.
7. Click on cv_0, and say 'no' to the prompt. Then right-click cv_0 and export it to your "ISO Files" folder. Do the same for cv_1. Close GGS when you're done.
8. Open the cv_0 from your "ISO Files" folder in AFS Explorer. (Again, say 'no' to any prompts.) At the top, click "Advanced" then "Modify reserved space".
9. When the "Reserved Space" window opens, change the following values...
- For all of the files between unnamed_4169.bin and unnamed_4244.bin, change "bytes reserved for file" (in the top right) to 32768.
- For all of the files between unnamed_7953.bin and unnamed_8068.bin, change "bytes reserved for file" to 2048.
- For all of the following files, change "bytes reserved for file" to the number next to them...
unnamed_7917 = 51200
unnamed_7918 = 45056
unnamed_7919 = 55296
unnamed_7920 = 59392
unnamed_7921 = 67584
unnamed_7922 = 65536
unnamed_7925 = 81920
unnamed_7926 = 65536
unnamed_7929 = 67584
unnamed_7930 = 63488
unnamed_7931 = 43008
unnamed_7937 = 47104
unnamed_7947 = 63488
unnamed_7948 = 47104
unnamed_7952 = 51200
unnamed_8118 = 1083392
10. When you're done modifying the reserved space, click "Regenerate AFS!". After the save window opens, change "save as type" to "all files" - then put "REGEN.img" in the file name box, and click "save". When it's done, click "ok" and close the "reserved space" window.
11. Open the REGEN.img you just created in AFS Explorer. At the top, click "Action" then "Import folder". When it asks which folder you want to import, choose your "FC Insert Files" folder and click "ok". It will then ask if you want to rebuild the file so it's smaller - say 'no'. When it's done, click "ok" to close the log window. Close AFS Explorer.
12. Open FrenChroniK's cv_1 in Game Graphic Studio (say 'no' to prompt). Right-click param_dat_27.bin and choose "export selected file to". Save the file to your desktop.
13. Open the cv_1 from your "ISO Files" folder in GGS (say 'no' to prompt). Right-click param_dat_27.bin and choose "import a file over this one". Choose the file you just saved to your desktop.
14. Open your clean PES iso in GGS. Click on cv_1 (say 'no' to prompt), then right-click it and choose "import a file over this one". Choose the cv_1 from your "ISO Files" folder. Do the same thing with cv_0, *but* choose the REGEN.img from your "ISO Files" folder to import over it. When you do this it will say the new file is smaller and ask if you still want to import it - say 'yes'. Close GGS.
15. Burn your now modified PES iso.
Aside from the team names, which you'll have to change manually in Edit mode - you will now have a fully functioning EPL. I didn't take any other files into account while doing this (like league logos, national teams, boots, balls, ad boards, or scoreboards), but you can follow the same procedure if you want to incorporate any of them. You just need to make sure that you have enough reserved space for the files you're importing and, obviously, that your finished cv_0 and cv_1 are the same size or smaller than the originals. Hope that helps.
