Pc Online / Port Numbers

Just checked my router port forward settings and noticed that for PES6 I had both ports 5739 and 7000 given unrestricted access. Someone want to give that a try?

EDIT: Or try the two ports Beattie suggested. If I had the game I'm certain I could sort this out quickly.

hey you need to open 5730 and 3658 and set them as trigger ports and you should be fine, what broadband you have?

I am on Bt,

5730 is the port that pes 6 was using.

in settings and online tab is say defult port 5739

what do you mean by trigger ports?

yeah on the router web page , i added a dmz udp port or summit along those lines

if u go to settings the last tab is online .. mine says defult 5739

but there is an option to change it... thats where i changed it t the same port number pro evo 6 was usin but still didnt work..

i have tried all those different port numbers ... now it just says testing netowrk environment and nothing else..... dont know if thats better or worse :s

i had the same thing with pes 6 ,

but after about a week i workred it out..... so tried all the same things thinkin i was good and learnt summit last time....

i startin to agree friggin konami

Its strange that its only pes8 im having problems with, for pes5/pes6 i didn't have to change anything, i was able to connect without changing anything =/

Most people are looking at the PS3 and 360 threads as only a small number of users on this site play PES on the PC and of those few people I for one haven't had it delivered yet.

Well, I was able to get to the registration screen before friday with a "naughty" copy, and it did not go past this stage (but i did get a login screen). So I bought the game and now I get an error message come up. Earlier in the week it said the servers wouldn't be fully functional until the 25th. Well thats passed. I'm starting to think that the servers are down!

BTW if you have UPnP enabled on your router, there should be no need to add ports as this does it automatically (does mean that the detecting network is slower - tried both you see)

where did you order it from i though all the strikes had stopped or u some where remote?

Ordered it from Play and it was posted on Tuesday which would almost always mean I would get it on Thursday (I live in Birmingham). At worst, I expected to receive it yesterday as I've only once pre-ordered with Play and not had a game delivered by the release date - and on that occasion it was a Saturday morning.

Hopefully thats the cause, i'll give it ago tomorrow and see if anything changes.
