Smoke, would you please tell me what I am doing wrong.

I applied the patch, from 1.6 to 1.6.1 and none of the transfers work. I have Van Der Sar playig for Aston Villa, Kaka is playing for AC Milan, Ronaldo and Tevez are both still at ManU and Rooney plays for Inter Milan.

This is in BAL mode, btw if that makes any difference.

Also, I don't see any of the new balls or boots. What did I do wrong?

if you started BAL or ML before the update ofcourse they will not be transfered inside your save, that wont be logical. but all transfers should be correct when u start a new one.

if non of the transfers are done even in exhibition mode it means there is something wrong, probably the option file is not copied in the save folder.

Ah bummer. So I need to check exhibition mode first to see if everything works, right?

If it does, then I am just out of luck on my BAL saves right? :(

BTW, great work on this SMOKE. I know that a lot of people appreciate your work.

Ok, UPDATE:

I checked exhibition mode and Ronaldo and Kaka had not been transferred. Do I need to reinstall the patch?

I wonder if it was because I applied the Konami 1.5 update.

I did it after 1.6 was installed then applied 1.6.1. I have a fresh copy of original game with only 1.4 applied. Should I go through the steps and install 1.6 then 1.6.1 on this install and just start a new bal?

man, if you have read comments, youll know that this patch works best with a non patched pes copy, this patch have its own EXE files, i think you should uninstall and delete everything then reinstall the game and patch 1.6 then update 1.6.1, NO konami patches is required.

I want to play the Master League with "Club Africain" but i couldn't because it is in World Clubs B. What can i do to be able to play the ML with World clubs B? Can i move "Club Africain" to World Club A? And which tools do i need?

I don't know what the hell I'm doing wrong. I just reinstalled and follwed the directions on a clean install. I went to exibition mode as the first thing I did and Ronaldo and Kaka were still on ManU and AC Milan.

The only thing I can think of that I might have done that was not in the notes, is when you first start the game, a screen popups and says "applying downloaded content", then it asks you if you want to apply downloaded content. I say "yes".

Should I not allow it?

Remember, I am NOT manually downloading a Konami patch. This is just what it says on first startup of a fresh game. Thanks.

try this,load up the game and if it says apply downloaded content?say yes.go into the edit mode and then with the game running switch back to your desktop.on your desktop copy and paste smokes edit file into your save game folder (even if you've already done it) then go back into your game and in edit mode click on load option file and select yes.

everything should be good after this.

unfortunately teams A are at maximum, when i merged teams from B to A the game exe crashes.

the only way is to switch CA with another team from teamsA, but its not that simple, ull need PES editor, just to make switch and in it u can switch flags too, but the banners will not switch, also u must switch kits.

its not simple so, good luck
