Don't use those adaptors, they never work properly, buy a logitech ps2-like gamepad, best available ones.

I use the Tigergame Xbox controller adapter and it works perfectly for Pro Evo 4, 5, 6. I get all my buttons configured to the xbox set-up;)

can someone recommend me one of these pads? the logitech ones i saw all look pretty cheap and nasty. i play on PS2 too, so i don't want to get anything that's much different from the standard dualshock controller.

cheers

ps why haven't sony released a usb dual shock? seems like a pretty big oversight, especially as so many games are ported staright from ps2 to pc these days.

I can't configure any of my controls. Well, I can configure them, but then they don't save. Also, I have no background images on the main screen, just a black screen, although I can navigate the options because they are written across the bottom! Anyone help?

I bought this baby yesterday:

Logitech Dualforce, I just plugged it to the USB port and started playing PES 6 no configuration needed, my PC and my PES 6 recognized it automatically, excellent stuff: $ 20 dollars.

I have the logitech joypad and a ps2 venom adaptor and the ps2 controller pisses on it from a great height in respect of comfort , paticularly in respect of pes6, that said the logitech is very sturdy and good for other games.

Here is my simple tip for getting these converters to work.

-Forget any discs that come with it, use the windows xp drivers
-calibrate the joypad in the windows control panel
-Go to start>all programs>pro evo 6>settings and set up the controller via the drop down menu for pad 1, 2 etc...
-configure your controller in the actual game

and hey presto, it should work!!

Hi, I just bought one of those. Installed the drivers no problem and did the testing thing and all the buttons work fine. However in PES6 the L and R triggers don't work at all, and it just doesn't recognise them in the settings. I'm using an official controller S.

Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.

I bought a PS2 to PC converter off eBay for about £5.

Works perfectly... and no need to configure anything... just plug and play basically.
