Hey everyone. I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer while I wait for an "official" support response from Konami. I'll make a long story short. I installed the game, registered a Konami ID and Gamer ID cause that's what it said I needed when I went to play online.
Got in fine and tried to play a couple games to test it out. No probs, other than getting dropped, but whatever. Decided I wanted to change my Gamer ID cause I just didn't like the one I went with. Read the instructions, deleted my Konami ID along with the Gamer ID that was attached to it. Created a new ID with the login I wanted.
Tried to go back online and play some more, but now all I get is "unable to login". Thought maybe the system didn't update the new account yet so I waited and tried several more times after that to no avail.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the game thinking that might work, nope. Not sure what else to do. I read somewhere that your Konami ID and subsequently your Gamer ID are tied to the serial number when you register on the web site.
If that is the case and I've already deleted my first account, which I cannot use anymore afterwards, how does one get around this?
Any suggestions would be appreciated as I really want to get online to do more testing and playing. Sorry for the longish post :-(
