[PC] Why doesn't my ML team appear, with updated stats in exhibition

When I save my ML team, and load it from the exhibition (to play a friendly), my stats aren't updated. Anybody knows how to solve this?

There is no way to fix that, it's the way Konami made the game.

I haven't tried this on the latest version yet, but you could do it in the previous ones by actually saving just your team when you go into "Records" and to "view your current team"...
...orr something along the lines of that.
It's a seperate file that stores all of the stats of your team up to that point.

Is it like this on the consoles as well? If so I never realized that players actually had the same stats they did before ML instead of the improved ones. Odd.

I don't think there's a way to fix this. Afterall the ML is another data. When playing an exhibition match you're using the default option file not the ML file with updated stats.

Exactly, Think about it this way, Exhibition matches are played in 2008.. whereas, your ML team may have progressed to 2013 or something... 5 years on is a lot of progress but the players wont have acquired thier stats for another 5 years if you play them in an exhibition match lol

It'd probably be a pretty simple tweak if one knew what to look for (just changing a reference or two, something like that; what is PES written in, anybody know?), but still more work than it's worth. :^/

On PS2 you could but it is impossible to do it on next gen so far. you used to 'save team as' or somin and it wld be ok to do memorial match but now its fuking annoying and cant do it all.

That's why we want somebody to fix this problem
