Who holds the record for the most pens in a game.

I just beat blackburn 4 - 0 with my Fulham team in the master league.
All goals were pens.

on a serious note tho, I think there are to many pens given out in PES 4

I agree. Some matches they award too many pens.
Most I've seen is 3 in a match. You see less pens when playing against other people though (compared to playing CPU).

But it also reminds me that my mate must be the worst penalty taker on evo, we keep record........... taken-16.....scored-6....missed-10...

Before I moved down south, me and a mate used to enjoy twin player post-pub matches. We both thought it would be cool if the keeper could bring down a forward and the referee issue a card and award a penalty. This was while we were playing PES2 and 3 on the playstation2. Anyone know if it can happen on PES4? I suppose the only down side might be if you were the one on the recieving end of an AI red card and penalty for just pressing the :triangle: button. Still, it'd look realistic.

this has only happened once on the for me like but still adds realism.
but it wasnt funny as i was the one giving it away. :eek:
although me keeper was only booked.

the penalties dont bother me that much 'cause there are times i think that i SHOULD get one and I dont, so I'll take 'em as they come :D

Agreed. I get far too many penalties. The worst one's are where your player hasn't even gone to ground and just stops in his tracks as the whistle is blown, which is very unrealistic. I had 3 in one game against Liverpool. Wasn't complaining at the time though, I was 3-0 down at one point and ended up winning it 5-4 :D

I've had the most laughable ever decision go against me though. Fabregas ran past Rob Hulse of West Brom and brushed slightly against him as he went past (nothing more) and suddenly a penalty was given against me. Kanu scored it and I ended up losing the match 2-1, which was the first game I ever had lost on PES4.

i used to get a lot of pens when i first playing pes4 but now a few seasons in i hardkly get any maybe 3 a season

maybe i changed the way i played

I think everyone has changed there style of play since they first started playing on it to be fair. i have as now i know whats best and whats is most effective and im pretty sure most people can agree with that.

yeah way to much pens. but the refs seem to give them when they shouldn't have been pens and don't when they're blatent fouls think most iv'e had is 3 in one game

just happened to me, and the goalie was sent off, so it does happen. it was really cheesy though, i ran through with drogba, the goalie came out so i just tapped my player to the side, the ball going under the goalie and my player r2-jumping over the diving goalie and i was clear for the net and the ref stopped the game. was pissed at first because i thought no way was that offside, but then the red card came up and i got a penalty. watching the replay i saw that the goalie just touched me so i staggered a tiny bit, but far from a red, especially since i couldn't have avoided scoring afterwards

The number of penalties should be cut down. Sometimes I get something like 2-3 penalties per match. HOwever my scoring rate for penalty has been abysmal. Unlike previous, the penalty kick is now much more realistic and harder to score. Despite playing for 3 season, I still have not mastered the art.In previous edition, I used to place the shot at the centre and it has worked for me all the time. Konami has done a great job here by not moving the keeper for a longer period of time. So we have to guess whether to place the ball right, left or centre unlike previously where a center hit has a high probability of success.
