penalties

I don't know if it's just incredibly bad luck but for some reason I suck at penalties (playing we8i PC with wolf's patch). The CPU guesses correctly literally every time I shoot....the only times I score is if I shoot it far enough into the corner the keeper can't get to it, but even then they're going the right way. I'm probably 3 for 15 on penalties in a game. Strange thing is if the game goes to a shootout I generally make a more realistic percentage of my shots...anyone else noticed this?

Press lots of buttons and hope for luck or you can cheat and when their about too take the penalty pause the game.

I have PES on the PS2 but have no problems with my penalties. Some players always seem to hit the post but I score almost every penalty with some better shooters.

I meant when I'm shooting on the computer

that pause might come in handy sometime though

I don't know if it works but my scoring is 99% off penalties so far..
A)) Keep the up and left/right direction pressed as desired
B)) Press shoot button
C)) When the player makes the run to the ball; release the directional buttons

still no luck
played more, got three more penalties. went upper left, upper right, and middle. CPU saved all three of em. worst part is whenever they save em it rebounds to one of their players, not mine.

i have no problems with them, my tactic when playing friends/online is to hit it very quickly to give the player less time to react to whats going on

Roll them all down the middle, atleast if he saves it most of the time it will come back to you.
