Totally agree with the opening post, i played PES 2008 all year until last week - i don't even have another game nor do i rent any. I thought 2008 was relatively poor coz was too easy to score and the edit mode was crap and both of those seem to be fully addressed so i'm delighted and can't wait for friday. Also, being able to import mp3 files is genius and the player faces are correct for loads of teams - i just can't wait for friday!

i didn't think it was possible to play the hell out of pes 08. I hate slagging it off as i sound like a broken record but when someone prasies it i have to say something. This is the most i have anticipated a pro since the first evo on ps1 and i dont think it will let me down.

yea i agree with the post. me and my friend played the game today for awhile it was sper fun. very hard to score. u ugly brits are so lucky lol, you get the game friday and we have to wait till the 11th for it!
I've had a few stabs at the game and it seems promising enough.
Couple of things left me worried, though. 1) Is the maximum number of controllers (and on PC really four? 2) Is the game (or at least the demo) a bit easy? I've lost only the first match I played and won others with quite comfortable lead.

this genuinely concerns me that the game might not be enough of a challenge, this aspect is crucial to weather you play a football game or not and surely seabass knows this.
