the speed of the game is perfect. its moved on a lot from 4. this thing of turning in a flash and sprinting away for a shot on goal got really boring in 4. if its too slow just buy fifa and score from kick outs and midfield whenever your feel like it.

pes 5 is brilliant.

Did anyone notice that PES4's game speed differed depending on the tv you played it on? Is this the same with PES5?

well i played it on a huge tv and game play seemed a little faster but that was multiplayer which always seems faster to me...so im not entirely sure

I have both Fifa 06 and Pro 5. Fifa is a excellent game, i hate the fact that young and stupid people are always turning to fifa and pointing out the bad points on the game and never the good. fifa is so much more faster than pro. Pro evo's players sumtimes play like schoolkids and they cant even make a single pass in a whole game sometimes. but then again you can say that pro is kinda realistic. But the speed of pro 5 is absolutely pants. And i do not agree with people saying..." pro is only for the die hard fans..". Im sorry but that is crap. I love football, and i think fifa this year is better than pro

Dead-right on this one! I notice how the wings now go forward a lot and actually can be played & integrated more in the game. Great!

Why cant we just agree with the professionals, i mean GamesMaster gave PES5 96%, they gave FIFA 06 around 3/4 of that

Only got Pro Evo today, and first impressions are good.

PES4 was way too fast in my opinion. Too much like Fifa, where you could pull of loads of tricks and run throught the opposition. The speed of PES5 seems much more realistic.

It is TOO slow when turning though, even the quickest players turn like milk floats. All in all though, an improvement on the last one.

I been watching real football then putting on pro evo, speed seems to look normal (i think) Fifa hasa things pro needs and vice versa
