I have a story!

I don't know how this new ranking system works, usually up to now from old pes game the ranking varried, I was always in the 500s and at times low 600s... now Im at 420 and had to bring that up from a low 300. OK anyway, so I end up playing this guy who's ranked 820 vs me at 420..... OFCOURSE he picks Barca, so I pick Man City...He quickly scores on a through pass to Messi and is up 1-0 and Im thinking ok here we go.... After that I totally dominated him, I was actually shocked at the ease I had manhandling his defense with Aguero and Balotelli running circles around his back 4 and unleashing some wicked shots at his goal. I end up winning by a shocking 6-1 scoreline, 20 shots on goal to his mere 4. I thought he would have quit as in 2012 eveytime I would be up vs a high rank player they would somehow disconnect and not get me the win. He didn't and I got the win.... Im still surprised how he could have been ranked that high and have such piss poor approach to the game.

The ranking is confusing me to be honest. Ive been beaten by way more players ranked 300-500 than players 600+

Don't know if its me psyching myself up for harder players or what? I'm at 530 and I played a guy who was low 300 and he demolished me! I'm sure it was a joke, like he purposely lowered his rank to be funny?!

PES 2012 I was high 500/ low 600 too but i'm getting beat so much on this, Real Madrid through balls, I just cant stop them, some people just through balling from center/wing backs its pathetic, whats the point in playing?! Cant be fun! I have an old play style of passing around in midfield and looking for openings getting closer to goal.

I do like this game more but I feel Real Madrid and through balls are ruining it.

Played a guy last night, he was awful, I mean shockingly bad! My housemate was laughing at how bad he was, I was 2-0 up really quick, probably the possetion was around 70-30 to me, yet he managed with Barcelona to have 2 shots with Messi (through ball from defence) and both went in. This is what I dont like. I won 3-2 in the end but you really have to watch the 2 top teams, I bet a baby could score a fluke goal just pushing through ball and shoot constantly...

I really love this game but I have never been so frustrated by a game of pes in my life :no:

seriously mate, have you not played Pro Evo for a few years or something?! It's been like this for a while but I don't know about you guys, there's a reason I keep coming back, it's still brilliant despite the niggles!

I think there's a few reasons you may beat a guy rated 900 and then lose to a 400 rating. Partly down to tactics- some times a tactic can work so well or so badly that things slot in to place and you end up hammering a guy who's maybe better than you. Another is the moral/fatigue, maybe his players are knackered or the better player tries to rest good players while underestimating his opponent. Over confidence too where the better player may get sloppy and try things he wouldn't usually while the lesser player will play safe.

Just a few reasons but the game, just like the real thing has its flaws, giantkillings and upsets can happen. It makes it more unpredictable and fun and downright addictive. I want my life back!!

I'm sure there's many more
