Until now, i've not been able to settle on my settings for PES 2008.
My specs are;
P4 3.2G with HT technology (Old, I know)
2GB DDR2 Ram
ATI Radeon HD 2600XT.
No matter which quality setting i chose, I always had slowdown on the wings and in the box. This was very frustrating as I think I should be able to run medium.
I have been running the game at 1280x720 60Hz (720P),
but last night I installed kitserver and chose 1920x1080 (1080i)
My TV doesn't support 1080P, so the game is running 1080i and the performance is well improved. I can play on High with limited slowdown (replays and cutscenes are slow).
My drivers are Catalyst 7.1 and I'm using ATI Tray tools instead of Catalyst Control Centre.
Has anyone else tried 1080i or any other interlaced resolution?
