PES 2008 style L1 cursor changing?

In PES2009 the cursor changing has changed; When you pass the ball, you have to press L1 again to change to the player that the pass is intended to. In PES 2008, it use to change it automatically. Is there any way to change that? (Im on unassisted I believe)

OK Then why doesnt it do it like PES2008? Im asking because there must be some other option to change it to PES2008.

Change it to semi-assisted or assisted.

U did.

Unassisted works by the CPU knocking the ball around for u giving u the opportunity to run men into space.....but I think this system is a bit sucky tbh.
