Hi all,

Long time no see...

Due to the apparent ease of being able to patch the PC version of PES 2009 its a no brainer really that the Xbox 360 version should also be patched.

However things will be a bit different this year. The Edit mode is good enough to do the kits in game...alot of dual layers and time was spent last year on relinking kits etc

So version 1.0 will include

Gloves
Balls
Boots
Competition Logos
ALL ALL TEAM EMBLEMS (THESE WILL ALSO APPEAR ON KITS MAKING THEM EASIER TO DO IN GAME)
I will be removing the blastered sand bags

Later versions will probably include full team strips, sound patches etc

blah blah

I will also be releasing option files in various stages.
The initial one will have all the transfers done and the majority of names in LOWER case...

later versions will have full squads and amended stats

HOWEVER

I need your help to decide on Team B's this year

I already have decided to do the best teams in Germany and the best teams in Scotland but I will need ideas please people

Release will be shortly after the retail date

akenny you're more than welcome to participate in this thread but if you're gonna start with your bull crap keep off it

Are you talking Patch or OF. Cuz my Xbox is not chipped or flashed or anything but I have a XSata. For the Bundesliga team I just wish you consider Bayer Leverkusen as one of the best teams (they didn't make it into the UEFA Cup but they play the best football in germany at the moment!).

It will be a patch but the option file (because of the non linking of kits) will be usable for non patched copies

The option file will be the edit file only so you wont have to loose your existing save
Dundee and Bayern Lev. Consider them both in!

Might do Wolves and a couple of other Championship teams but didnt really want to touch on that...except for my beloved Birmingham City!!

PS3...yup with option file but boots, balls etc not at the moment!

I know it's probably overkill to build the player faces, but I've done an average job of building a lot of players faces for Dundee United (ie. probably bordering on caricatures! :) ) in PES 2008 if you want them?

I could send you the option file or the build numbers for them, or even add them to your 2009 file for you? (or basically whatever you want me to do with them, whatever is easiest for you seeing as how you are doing all the hard work)

I've not converted their stats from FM though as I don't agree with how the converter can only make a defender who's pace is 20 in FM equal about 89 in PES while it can make a striker with pace of 19 in FM equal about 94 in PES. (I also don't agree with Darren Dodds's great pace and Stamina in FM, anyone that saw United's first game of the season where Wilkie had to be Dodds's legs for him would agree with me! ;) )

P.S. Sorry, this is all Dundee United this post - but to give you a head start - you can get the stats in PES 2008 for United's GK "McGovern" (in Celtic Squad), CF "Feeney" (in Northern Ireland Squad, so should be in PES 2009) and CF "O'Donovan" (in Sunderland Squad, and still on loan from them, so he should still hopefully be part of Keane's 130-player squad in PES 2009! ;) )

for this patch mate what will i need to do in terms of getting on my xbox360, can't find the thread of how to transfer data from my pc to my xbox360.

I just read on PESfan that the Edit mode on x360 didint allow you to import data and images from your harddrive. That was a real shame

blue thats not on about my bull crap. i told you i was selling my very own patch for personal reasons at the time, i have no issues with you. but u seem to not like me for it, i dont get it but i apoligize for the problems in the past,

now to the patching, in game edit is gonna be vhard this year for 360, just confirmed that the 360 doesnt alow us to import pictures :( we will have to come up with something on that end of things. good luck . hope you dont wana fight with me no more ;)

yeah akenny I agree, maybe kit import is gonna have to be done anyway

I was planning on doing emblems then using in game paint to do the rest of the kits but why bother when you can have the real kits

let me roll out phase one first without kits with option file then we can look at the relinking once the PC patchers figure that out

Hopefully we will get a tool like Yoguis last year

game looks good this year but why the fook are the squads so outdated!??

LETS ALL WORK IN ONE DIRECTION THIS YEAR, this is the only real place for xbox 360 patching for pes...

i agree, :) when it comes to 360 patching pesgaming is the place.

and i think somebody said that the reason the squads are outdated is because konami dont get to update transfers after the first week in august :(
