PES 2009 Face Editing in PS3

Hello,

For people who already got the game, can we in PES 2009 edit faces by importing files to the console? or do we still have to use the eye toy to create faces?

both of them works..
YOu can directly put jpeg files to memory stick and copy them to harddisk of PS3.. then you can load which pic u want for the face scan..

EYE-camera also works.. and it works better for me ..

Have you copied the pictures onto your PS3's harddisk (into "Pictures" in the XMB) ?.

yes i did it. then i go into the game, into the edit section. but when i load from the main menu or follow "edit player" -> "create player" -> "scan" it says no files found. any idea. i 'm desperate....

If you open your pict in Photoshop then save it as a PNG file and it'll show up on your PS3 when you build from scratch, works great too, had good fun wi this!!

hm, it should be "create (or edit) player" -> "scan" -> "create from scratch" (not "load" as load only let's you access the faces you have saved from "create from scratch") -> "import data" -> then it will show you all the pics you have saved in XMB/Pictures.

If that doesn't work, I'm stuck... you do see the pictures ok on your PS3?

you gotta copy the files from the usb to ps3 harddrive before you can load them into pes

BTW, what is the size of the pictures? I mean dimensions?
640*480 works btw. But if it's ,much bigger, say 1920*1080, it's too big for the game to read I believe. Though I am not too sure.

I've got the same problem, only - When i put the pictures(faces) onto a usb stick, then put it on the PS3, it finds everything that's on it under pictures, videos, music, but when it's on saved data utility(ps3) it says no data.

But when I used an option file before, they had faces in it, and you could use and see them.

these are the sort of ones I'm trying to use.
