So do you guys Think about PS2-the best of the best Console of all time for Winning Eleven (PES) would End right here for this year. What do you guys think ?

I still remember the Old day if not just yesterday , I played this game on PS2 Allday an now the next-gen has been come and of course dominated PS2. manz PS2's PES still look the best to me personally .

Well ive been playin ps2 pro evo 2008 on and off all year, i didnt bother with the ps3 version, cos of the feeble edit mode and general feeling it was rushed. But after playin the new ps3 2009 demo, the ps2 version is looking very dated all of a sudden. Time to move on me thinks!

I wont forget my PS2 i'm going to buy PES 2009 tomorrow & get my Pro evo 4 disk repaired aswell so i can sit in my bedroom and kick some CPU arse on Pro Evo 4 i think i will put PES 2009 downstairs on the HD TV

it was the same when the game moved to ps2 from ps1. Some unbelievable memories of the game and a football series that may be matched but never topped. Aspects of the ps2 games will still be part of the fundamentals of the new games and this is one of the reasons why i am looking forward to this years release so much. I was actually looking back at some images of the old pes games today and the nest on pes 3 were highly arousing

Nothings been confirmed yet regarding future PES games on the PS2.

But if I take a guess then I think that PES 2009 may well be the last PES game to be released on the PS2.

I just have a feeling that Sony are getting ready for a strong push in PS3 sales over the next year or so. They'll tell KCET to stop producing the game for the PS2 and just concentrate on the PS3 version thus forcing PES fans with a PS2 to go out and buy a PS3.

Microsoft did something similar regarding PES and the original Xbox so I can see Sony doing the same very soon.

well they've released summet that looks almost identical to the ps2 version on the ps3 and called it next gen
