Hi. If possible i would like to know what views the people on this forum have when considering if the demo of pes 2009 is the actual representation of the full game. I have read on this forum somewhere that the full game is different to the demo. It's a shame that we can't be 100% sure that it is the case. There are a lot of people not happy about the keepers and the amount of cards given out in a match.
From my few games that i have played the keepers have made some class saves and no blunders (i have probably spoke to soon now). These two issues need to be fixed, mainly the keeper issue though. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

i will be very much happy if the final version is like the demo and if the refaree strictness can be changed from the option ...

Thanks for your responses. I must admit i do get booked at times but it is not as often as some on this forum, also the keepers have been pretty solid and have taken the ball out of the air on corners and have kept hold of a couple of shots.
The keepers have also punched the ball out of the area, saying that though if the keepers are as poor as people claim , then that should be the main thing fixed as it would just ruin the game. I have been playing with the vertical camera rather than the tele , i scored a brilliant goal with france. I believe this is going to be the best pes ever, providing the niggles are fixed.

i doubt there going to fix theses problems... i havent had many cards, but the keepers do seem to squeeze the ball outta their hands while grabbing them. Its the 4th of october, game is out on the 17, its probably in production, discs are being made and cases too, theyll ship it around the 12th.... so there not going to risk anything in 8 days... its a shame really, why didnt they relaise it a few weeks ago and get feedback from all their fans instead of just having a few special grups travel over there to play it, its the same with everygame though aint it? I remember when the last game came out the refs where a bit crazy but we all just learned how to tackle properly.

Yes but the demo build date might be as far back as a month ago. I've come across demos with all manner of build dates previously for all sorts of games so they'd have had a lot longer to work on fixing the issues than you're considering.

That doesn't mean they'll have improved or tweaked anything but its still worth noting.

Hopefully the transfers will be updated. They're up to date in FIFA and the FIFA demo was out of date, so here's hoping.

I hope this is a really old build.

The fact the line-ups are all wrong gives me hope this is the case.

I like most of the game, except the incredibly slow pace (it just needs to be a little quicker), the awful shooting mechanics and the referee.

yeah they need to sort the transfers, crosas is still at barca when he should be at celtic, no gudjohnsen at barca?? why?:eek:hmy: robinho still at real madrid, campbell still at man utd should be at spurs, no reira at liverpool yet, no de la red at real madrid, thuram still playing for france - retired 3 months ago due to a heart defect, makelele still in for france - retired after euro 08. dong fangzhu still at man utd - hes been releesed!! theres probably more but all this needs to be sorted or it will be outdated even as its released!! but i love the new gamplay.;)

your right tranfers need sorting

big ones you missed berbatov not at man u saha and silveste are still there and should not be no da silva brothers ot possibon for man u either

man u squad needs a major update before release

interesting. Some say they have played a promo copy and the demo and see no difference.:erm:

Another says that he played the full version in Rome and has also played the demo and says there are differences, then goes on to say that he hates the demo but loved the full game.:blush:

another one states that Konami have a habit of releasing demos that are below par, compared to the full games counterparts.:D

yeah most demos are of old builds motorstorm 2 and even the LBP beta is of an old preview build and with the squads not being up to date i think this is an old one 2

I remember last PES 08 demo was just bad, I hated it. But the retail was slightly better, even though that is not saying much about the crap PES 08 was.
