PES 2009 suggestions

I've just come up with a couple idea's,

- Cage Style Football - something like 5 a side football in cages, would be so cool i think, if they done it right.

- More BIG stadiums, i think the thing that lacked in PES2008 this year was stadiums i was excited about the fact they would add a few extras, maybe even Wembely or Emirates..But i was so disapointed. I would like the more BIG stadiums in Europe to be added this year.

-Better Licenses, The teams that finish in the top 2 in the England League should be licensed IMHO. Or maybe even get the rights for maybe 4 or 6 licsensed teams, would be a huge step forward

- More Teams and League's. What happend to Bundesliga? i would like to this back in for 2009, Also the Scottish & Portuguese League's would be nice

- Stadium Create/Edit, I would love to this addition. The actual posibility you could create some stadiums, maybe even stadiums for teams in League 1 or 2 would be awesome. But not crappy, box stadiums they should give you options:
Base
Stands
AdBoards
Wall Design
Ect
Ect.

So you can create individual bits for the stadium.

-Boot Edit. Bring this back please(period).


On a side note:
People asking for Licensed English League, Balls, Stadiums, Will be in for a bit of a shock!:shockingWell Maybe Not:happy FIFA have exclusive rights of the England League till 2010, KONAMI have to BUY their licensed from clubs. and they are only allowed a maximum of 2 Licensed teams in the England League. But you never know, Maybe in 2010 or 2011 KONAMI might buy the Rights for the England League and FIFA will have Teams like Man Red, North London .

- Better Referre's, This needs to be improved massively, The game should flow, and not keep stopping for Free Kicks, every couple minutes.

- AI Free Kicks, I'm Sure this bugs most people. Every time they take a free kick they always seem to go in(no matter if you have a player on the line) or hit the bar. KONAMI need to work on that.

-AI Attacking. Every time they come forward they just seem to "Score when they want" Its really annoying.

Well, those things you mentioned are cool.. but that won't make the game any better. It's all in the game play and stats system - Konami needs to replace it, Konami needs to improve the game play, and also replace the old stats and special skills system.

Unless Konami changes the things mentioned above - PES will feel more or less like the same game but with better graphics. Now, the old PES versions were quite good on the PS2, but this is the PS3 and PES should be much better on the PS3.

By the way, I noticed that FIFA is also taking the lead on "Classic Players". Before we had FIFA with more licenses, and PES with the classic players feature. But now, FIFA haves both more licenses, and they have the Classic Players with their REAL FACES and with their REAL NAMES. Why is that?? Has FIFA also bought official licenses to have them classic players with real names and faces??

A PS3 Football game without the "Bundesliga"?? I hate to acknowledged it, but given the fact that both FIFA and PES are equally bad, with the slight difference that FIFA haves better classic players, more licenses, and more leagues - It seems, FIFA is taking the lead.

An cool addition would be a fileshare on xbox 360 where you could share your goals and other replays with your mates through a fileshare type service like that of Halo 3.
It would be good fun sending your mates videos of your best goals.

First of all, I would like to say, I have loved Pes since PES 1 on the PS2, until PES2008 on xbox360.

-I hope on PES2009 that in the master league you spend money on players, rather than the points.

-I wish more stadiums are on it, maybe 4-5-6 of the best stadias from each of the major footballing countries, so from England you would have Wembley, Old Trafford, Emirates, Anfield, Stamford Bridge and St James Park. From Spain, Nou Camp, Bernabeau, Mestalla, Riazor etc.
And only once these stadiums are incorporated should random Japanese and south american stadiums be included, since Europe is the target market for PES.
A stadium editor or creator would be pretty cool.

-Also, something I noticed yesterday. When in the master league, I don't know about you guys, but I usually select my team based on the condition arrows (I dont actually know what they are called). And I had just signed Rafeal Sobis (who is awesome btw) and he had scored 10 goals in 5 games, and his condition arrow became blue, downward pointing. I don't know if Konami have any formulas to calculate this conditioning, but I think it would be cool if a person is currently on a high streak, their arrows would be yellow or red, and likewise vice versa if they have had a bad period, therefore making it harder to get out of a bad set of results because of the negative confidence throughout the team.

-Also player ratings from games should be improved. I was playing a game last week in which I made a sub around the 80 minute mark, and he had one touch in which he scored, because of this goal, he had the highest rating on my team... Totally unrealistic.

One aspect I feel they've never capitalised on is the Classic players/teams, I feel this area should be expanded dramatically. I'd like to see 'real' classic sides, like England 66, Holland 74, Italy 82 and classic club sides. Then throw in a scenario mode, with classic challenges.

i have a long list of things to say which i think are really worth konami listening to and im sure everyone would agree!

personally the part of the game i play the most is the master league and i have a few questions:

WHY WAS THE ABILITY TO SAVE A MASER LEAGUE TEAM WITH IMPROVED & DEVELOPED PLAYER STATS TO USE AGAINST OTHER PEOPLE REMOVED???? i used to build up a good team and play the mater league endlessly to try and improve the worlds youngsters in anticipation of playing my friends teams at some point! now there is no real point to player development in the ml as you cant use the improved team online or against friends so u just improve them to keep playing in the same league over and over! you should be able to do both!

the training schedules like free kicks and dribbling should be brought back whilst still having the option to train players like you can on pes2008 but perhaps the pes2008 method would have less of an effect on improvements.

the leagues should be harder and other teams should have the ability to improve their players as much as you can so that the playing field never becmes unfair when your yougsters become world beaters. also the computer should buy young players and be able to scout good youth for the future not just buying the kaka's and C.ronaldos of this world.

The caption mode is a smart idea but instead of still pictures saying fans go crazy over new product there should be cut scenes showing the tour bus parade or new signings at a press conference being pictured in their new shirts or award ceremonies for MVP or golden boot, all not just for your players but others in your league!

i regret to say this but like "fifa" yuk can believe that came out my mouth, the game should have overall a more inclusive manager mode which allows for board interactions, sackings, players should play in international touneys in the summer and in international weeks rather than single players going missing at random times in the season!more teams in the champs league, you reach semis too quickly! players should leave clubs on frees more often or bids tooo high should be harder to turn down! players should be offerd to you for certain prices and be on transfer list not just released!

Please bring back ratings and player reports after the game like passes made and stuff. i took pleasure in seein that my midfield got 25 passes or more each and made several runs during the game and seeing what area they covered! along with this more in depth anlysis of game like action zones and stuff would make the game wayy more realistic!

commentary is a no brainer should be better than fifa's!
kit selector should be availiable before ml games its just common sense!
music should be able to be selected from personal playists saved on ps3 or xbox! more celebration scenes not just the same ones everytime!

bring back pes shop and new players to buy from round the world!
show evidence in game where achievements are completed!
bring back mode that remembers all head to heads with all your friends cant remember what it was called but we neva had arguments over whos won the most games!

Player slips when wet, and track marks from slides.
More recent celebrations not just 10 new ones and more dramatic when last min goals are scored not just jump the adboards and do a lacklusture punch, stuff like removed shirts and bookings, running and huggin the manager (which their appearances shuld adjustable) .
More freekick techniques and also varied corner kick tecniques not just beckhams and then everyone elses!

more detailed edit mode: ability to assign preset faces to others with game created faces, tucked in or out option brought back and they should b affected by shirtpulls in game, short sleeves rolled up sleeves! bboot boot edits and all ps2 editing facilities moved to next gen! i dont see why patchmakers can make editing exciting and konami cannot!

i love this franchise soo much and it hurts how rubbish this edition is, i could go on for 8 years but im hopin id have less to moan about by then!

Hello people, this is my first post but I have quite a few Ideas I would like to share with you.

First and foremost, please dont give the game a complete overhaul. It is fine the way it is. The only changes it needs each version is a few tweaks.

These should include:

Indirect-Free kicks: These should be given Inside the box for back-passes etc. I would love the chance just to get a player like Van Bommel to smash one in the top corner.

More skills: The new ones are ok, but It would be better If you had a little bit freedom. For instance, if you get the ball with a player like Ronaldo or Ronaldinho, You should be able to use the left and right triggers to flick up and start juggling the ball.

Dirty Tactics: As someone earlier stated, It would be great If you could use two footed lunges on players. Aslo, If you could use your elbow or even nut a player who has just fouled you. This would make the game more realistic if tempers flared.

Shooting variety: I think it would be great if you had more options when shooting. You should be able to choose whether to drive, place or swerve the ball and put it exactly wher you want it.

Better keepers: Greats like Cssillas and Buffon should never spill the ball. Only when you are playing against teams like Andorra and San Marino should this happen.

Also, There should be a lot more licenses. They should strip FIFA off them as it is a poor game. Imagine PES with the licence Fifa has .

I love online play and was gutted to find last years ps2 better than 08 on the PS3.
I cant understand why you dont have online tournaments like on last years ps2 and my main gripe is why you cannot pre edit your online inplay comments.I used to love "Gerrarrrrrrd,you beauty" coming onscreen whenever i played online.
Also the ball hitting the crossbar and giving a goal?whats that all about??

I'll start off.

Fix the online service.
Change the master league completely.
More club teams, english championship and more european leagues including Germany, portugal, Turkey and Scotland.
more editing options.


Im sure there are plenty of others you can think of.

I think the improvement should be:
- Realistic Transfer in ML
- Complete Statistic in League (Goal, Assist, MoM, Penalty, Most Cards, etc)
- Kit Selection (it's disappear on PES 2008)
- Full Licensing (hard, but "imppossible is nothing")
- Custom Team (Dream Team) in Friendly Match (like FIFA 97 did)
- Player Career Mode (adopt "New Star Soccer", or near-like FIFA 2008)

the online part of it needs drastic work to make it playable.

I was thinking, can't free agents be signed at any time? Why, then, must we wait till a window in ML to sign newcomers and "unbelonging" players? I know they wouldn't be eligible to play until the next window, but why be forced to wait around when somebody you want or need has sprouted up?

On that note, it seems that teams like Man U and Barca virtually always have negotiations going on with promising newcomers on the first day of negotiations in ML. How does that work?

I never play online because I cant be bothered to play against uber-l33t players who play this game non-stop, so the online aspect doesnt bother me.

I think PES2008 is a very good game, the best football game around, but here are some improvments to make for 2009:

>> Better free kick system
>> More editing options (Sleeve length etc)
>> More personalised players, so the players act more like they do in real life
>> Better commentary. There are only about 7 sounds which the commentator just repeats. The commentators are the ones who bring the game to life, changing thier tone of voice and volume when something good happens. At the moment, Henry could recieve the ball, is 1-on-1 with the keeper in the 90th minute of the world cup final, if he scores it will be the winner, and the commentator just says "Henry" as if he has recieved the ball anywhere else.
>> Stats which make a bigger difference. Some players such as Walcott are twice as fast as any other player, yet setting his speed to 99 doesnt make him fast enough.
>> Better control system for keyboards. Currently the controls are too complex and its hard to do alot of things, such as skill moves on a keyboard

Fix the lag problem, 2 on 2 lan. Make the players stop like they are on baywatch. make it more realistic and stop scoring dodgy "cutbacks" so damm easy!

I'd probly still buy the new PES if it was a cross between nintendogs and Halo 3 and came out for the Dreamcast.

VITAL IMPROVEMENTS

1-MASTER LEAGUE - Copy fifa's franchise mode with bored room/player meetings,REAL MONEY!, real tournament scheduals and rounds,you can be sacked, newspaper reviews about your performances, make the competition better in the league, have it so other teams sign loads of players..i could go on

2-GAMEPLAY - where do i start. refs should throw in some "bad decions" and the comentators could show the replay and whether it was wrong which would add some spice to the "do or die" matches. imagine holding onto a 1-0 lead but the other team scores a borderline offside goal and its disaloud even though it was jus about ok. i think it would make it realistic.

the players need to run more loosly and ragid and players shouldbe able to bump into players. i see i like im running down the wing i clatter into a player we both sloth around like "whats just happend?" and then i carry on running after the loose ball. ramdom stuff like that would be good.

cut scenes should be alot lot better. i played the fifa 08 demo recently and thought pro evo was about 10 years behind in this area. i wouldnt care if replays went on for too long like my idea about dodgy decisions. it would be good to look back on it cos like you could see the player shouting about how it was fine jus as the ref blows the whistle an then it could go to the overview. and players should argue and confront eachother alot more. the should be a stat like "temper" and if they get taken out by a yellow card or higher foul, then you could have the option of them hitting out like B button for "push and argue" or "fully confront" where anything could happen. coupled with "dodgy decisions it could really get realistic out there. also there should be better introductions to te stadiums and the comentators should give full on previews to the teams and stats. would massivly help.

3-FANS - there needs to be a clear differenciating noise from the fans as it seems to be 1 long roar throughout games whereas it should be more refined and noiser when you are near the box and the crowed should all stand up and move diferently and then pretinely cheer and celebrate when theres a goal. also crowed songs for every team. every team has 1 so why not put them in. 90th minute champions league final and liverpool fans sing walk alone, would be amazing. so also when ur passing it should be quieter and individual voices should be heard now and again. they should really concentrate on improveing the fans in all areas as it would mean more to win. hands on hips aswell. im just watching sky sports news and can spot loads of things that couls be implemented.

4-COMMENTATORS - worst part about pro evo. there are plenty of sky sports commentators that are well known and dont have an EA contract so get one of them in. honestly play ea's NBA 08. the comentators talk about everything from all the players to the fans and teams and it makes it feel so much more real life. u could be playing and the guy could say about how many goals this season gerrard has and what his average is and how well they rate him and actually remember thins he did in the match like a 50 yard pass.

5-PHYSICS- sit down with a not pad and watch a premiership match. there are so many things players do. from scracthing their noses,roughling their hair, giving eachother high fives from a good clearing header. u see what im getting at. these things would make it feel like a living match and would make the players come alive. also having things like horendessly bad shirt pullings would be cool and things like bumping into players and not instantly loosing the ball would make it feel like a real "anything could happen" game. slipping up on the pitch would be annoying but deep down would feel good cos you know it makes it realistic and random. ripped shirts leading to cut scenes of them changing it. alot more touching of players should be there. picture a corner coming. there should be jossling on a massive scale like tugging and bumping.

6-SHOOTING-quick and simple. there should be alot more shot types and expand on fifa's ball physics they have where ball spin etc plays a part. goalkeepers. i dont mind te fact they dont catch everything cos it would be impossible looking at he ones they do parry but when they do parry and give it away there should be alot more physics for it like the should be many different ways of them pushing the bal away like bouncing of al parts of the body to random areas and a variety of saves and i want dives of the centry stretching the whole body to be met with aplause from the fans and an emphatic cry from the comentators not 1 of the 4 different save types they have met with a mild change in the roar system and no coment atall from jon champion.

7-PES SHOP AND MEMORIAL MATCH - where the flying £uck did they go! im sorry but i aint gonna sit there for 50 hours doing the world cup with every national team to get all the classic plays, no way. u must bring that back cos i liked saving my money and buying what i wanted. u lot plz aggree with me on that. and memorial match! pes 6 was my fav game of all time because of it. i played my master league up till 2033 becaue of it. me and 1 of my friend used to always play it and it was fun buying players to play him with. aguero being my favourite.

8-STATS-with the absence of the classic players due to no shop the stats system fell apart. classic plays = players who had red 90s all the way down and i could pick em up for next to nothing if the were going on the free. whereas on 2008 i had to shell out 60k just to get rooney who was fully developed and was hovering around the low - mid 90s. man utd are heavily overated and simple comparisons like they say giggs is faster than ronaldo. wtf are they on? and jamie carra is crap and thats just not true and i could go on and on about how they dont know whhat their doing when it comes to stats. and i wanted my players from pes 6 back as i fell inlove with them all. by far my fav game of all time up there with all the gta's, cod 4 and gun

8-ONLINE-tut tut tut. i know there budjet is pretty thin and it was mostly spent on developing gameplay but wtf. no tournaments, no 2v2 or higher and even with a good conection it was glitchy. thee most glitchyest game ever. 2v2 tournament with prizes would be good if you could set them up.

9-GENERAL STUFF- crappy players should have a playable level of quality, even the pes united players just to make it more playable and good players should be even better than what they are now so long as the crapper ones actually can run,pass and shoot. master league overhaul. player happyness. realistic transfer window activity. scores from other games at the bootom of your screen as you play. litter on the pitch. cut the crap out of the team tactics and redo it by looking at football manager games.

change the layout of everything in the master league as its the same every year

fifa and pes join forces and have the best of both worlds
