I have played FIFA plenty of times, and it is massively diminishing as a Football Sim. It's all about arcadish play, maybe Dribbling past 3 Defenders via the Left Stick, score the same Goal time and time again, etc, etc...

FIFA is a Football Sim that discourages Collective (passing and movement) Play -and- gives way to Individual Plays. FIFA is a repetitive, arcadish, boring, Football Sim. I fail to see how some grown up people actually like FIFA.

Football isn't about Dribbling your way past 4 Defenders and then scoring an easy goal, Football isn't about doing just about anything you want with Ronaldinho and Cristiano Ronaldo. FIFA is still an arcade game to this day.

Whereas, PES4 (PES5, and PES6) did encouraged Collective (Team) Play -over- Individual Plays.. Wich is what Football is about, about a game that is won by the best TEAM, not the best Individuals.

PES was always ahead of FIFA.. Is the Gap closing?? PES09 will answer that.
