i played fifa 10 yesterday and thought it was so much better than 09. i always get drawn towards fifa for the huge amount of teams, all licensed aswell but the gameplay was so much better than expected. pes 2010 better deliver!

Seriously tho, PES2010 will be better than FIFA10 wich was crap in my opinion, but if it's good enough to be a "good game" or better remains to be discovered.

I think PES2010 is obviously gonna be a better game than PES2009 for quite a few reasons. Thats for sure imho.
I dont think there's any reason to pick sides between the two games as they're both pretty solid and have their own up and downsides which differ between the two games. I believe both PES2010 and Fifa10 will have their own draws as usual.

Maybe he does know what he's talking about, and simply has a different opinion to you...? I'm hoping that the final product is a miraculous improvement on both the PES and WE11 demo's... so indeed my hope is thin on the ground. Fifa is more of a no-go for me however.

You can be 100% Sure that PES2010 will be a good game. Whether it will be a fantastic game is yet to be decided.....

With all the new additions to the game, it surely will be better than PES2009.

I've been playing FIFA10 for a week now. It is an amazing game and I am starting to wonder whether PES2010 can get close to FIFA10.
But there is one major thing that is pissing me off really bad - The graphics.... I mean if EA have a game on XBOX360 and PS3, you expect them to deliver the best graphics. But instead you get crappy plastic zombie players who most of them look nothing like the real players.. I think this is a place where PES is a success. The graphics on PES are amazing, and at the end of the day, the graphics may be the decision some people make on buying FIFA or PES.
I wasn't too angry with the graphics on FIFA10, but then I played 09 and the graphics where much better.. How can the graphics of the new FIFA be worse than the previos? Thats shocking in my opinion...

Anyway, there are lots of major improvements in PES2010. I think we will be in for a few suprises once the game comes out.. Such as it is better than expected.
I think people such as 'RetroFooze' (Look at his post) will be suprised the most.

But then again, I could be wrong...

Not long left now, 2 weeks infact... Can't wait :)

*YAAAWNN*. I am getting sick of people whining their hearts out about this game.

seriously. Or else...you won't buy it? Stop being so negative. it's not like we are spending a fortune on something that will provide hours of entertainment albeit that it might have a few flaws. if people are unhappy go play fifa. Don't act as if you deserve to whine because of your loyalty to PES. Loyal fans will appreciate the hard work going into the production of the game. Like I said, if you don't like the game..cool down and go play FIFA or convince your self to enjoy the game with the flaws that is has. Or become a game developer and fix it yourself.

Pes 2010 will definetly last me until crimbo if not till the release of 2011. If i sell it ill prob get fifa.

So true. When it all comes down this site could as well contain only two major threads. One for Pes and one for Fifa. a couple of years ago i don't reckon we had this much rivalry between pes and fifa in here. Those were the days.. Fifa has gained more and more power in here or else EA has payed fifa fans for infiltrating our pes-paradise :happy:
