PES 2011 Lob problem

Hi!

I have bought PES 2011 for PC, and I like the game, however there is one thing that tilts me and makes me very frustraded; the lob function.

About 70% of the time I want to shoot at goal, my player lobs the ball(Into the keepers arms), when I want a real powerful shot. It also seems to be completely random, and I would like to turn the lobbing option off. I guess it is some kinda combination, like pressing shoot twice or holding sprint while i shoot, but this is seriously about to make me go mad:) Does anybody have any experience with this?

as you said, it's from you holding sprint.

btw, why hold sprint while shooting anyway? Would there ever be any instances where you would run as fast as you could possibly muster to kick the ball? Outside of chasing down a loose ball near the net in order to tap it in, it's really pointless in real life.

Maybe that'll keep you from holding sprint too much -)

I've had this and the problem is releasing the sprint button when you're about to take a shot. If you time this wrong it does a daft dinky lob. Incidentally, I've accidentally scored one of those before!

Yeah, I kinda understood this is the problem, but there is still no way to "disable" the lob function in some info-files or something? If not I guess I'll just have to practice ;) Thanks guys btw!

I have the same problem now. I have no idea where does it come from and why.

Month ago it was fine and attacker lobbed only when i held LB2. Now it lobs randomly. And the lob is totally powerless as well. You cant make that quick lob by trying, it has to be a error.

I even tried to unistall the game, no luck there.

Lobbing on this game is terrible, to be honest. You have to hold the shoot button down for a long, long time for it to go over the 'keeper.

And when you do get it over the goalkeeper, 9 times out of 10, it goes wide. It almost seems impossible to get it on target.

Must be improved for the next year.

Not only terrible, but f*king annyoing at the moment. I would like to turn all lob functions off if possible.
