PES 2012 honest experiences

Thought it's no worth to create a new topic to say my opinion about the new penalty system.

Pes2011 penalties were better.
I think the new system was very innovative and rewarding, maybe then it was just too complicated for some stupidos.

But this Pes2012 penalty system is a step backwards and simplified. They're now back to the old Pes "lottery mode". Hit & hope.

I found pes11 penalties ridiculous!. Pes 12 penalties are easy. Took me 5 mins to master in training

exactly, you hit the top of the nail.
To me that raises a question:
Whats the fun in that when you learn to master something in 5 mins?

I tried even, full power, press full direction to either side and you constantly hit top corner.

Ok I know penalties arent HARD to take for Pro players, but in Pes11, it was cool and rewarding to shoot good penalties, as they took some skill.

Luckily they are a small part of the game.

Pffffft.Penalty's were superior in pes 2011 if yopu actually bothered to learn them.
The only positive thing about pes 2012 penalty's is the camera angle.
Has anyone actually missed the goal frame yet?

Its a pity that u cant practice trying to save penalties, To see how close the keeper could get to them to try to even things out. The fifa rumbling pad is quite a good idea. Adds pressure to taking them.

What I do , is that anytime when in a cool situation or weired dead ball , I change to play the other side ... So slide on an opponant player in penalty area and change to the other team and practice whatever you like ...

Right, I was going to open a thread to gauge peoples reactions to PES2012 but there a plethora of threads that loosely touch on it. Seeing the usual diametrically opposed views but have noticed alot more bile towards PES2012 than there was for PES2012.

In a nutshell, what is good and what is bad with PES2012?

I've not bought the game and as yet nothing compels me to do so ... that said, I've been playing PES (in its various guises) for 13 years so its unusual for me not to be losing swathes of my time to it.

Actually i have , three times in fact. I had the pens nailed in 2011, on this one though they are easier.

I think when the goalie saves a pen on 2012, it looks pretty awsome.

I love this game! Scored an amazing goal online last night, even my opponent said WOW!

Playing as Man Utd I passed a fast direct ball to Anderson on the edge of the box, his control was amazing, he span with the ball and did a half turn around the player then struck it instantly! It was like a bullet into the top corner!

So many wow moments in this game compared to the last one! Loving it!
