PES 3 Patches -

That´s strange coz the Jonboyo 17.10 works for me, I don´t have this update. Try to burn without the update.
Scan your image with ECCRegen or CDMage.
If this doesn´t help and your game freezes after the PS2-logo then you probably did something wrong with ripping the game and that would be quite a problem coz I don´t know so much about ripping :(

check the PES3 Patch-folder on lomungtung´s server, there is a jonboyo patch from the 28.10. In the folder of this patch there is a file called contents.rtf, download it and open it with word and there you have a step by step instruction how to apply Jonboyo´s latest patch

I am not a patcher, but what do you need to patxch PES3? How much does it cost? Do you need a DVD Burner?

Hi Eirik555 (from Norway?) :)
I'm not really a patcher either, but I've read a lot lately about how to do it and which tools are needed.

From what I've gathered, you'll need at least a DVD Rom to rip the contents from the game DVD into an image (BIN or ISO) on your PC's harddrive. Then you will need several tools to extract, patch and burn the image onto a CD-R. These tools may include: CDRWin, CDMage, WinISO, ISObuster, DVDScan2 and a ripkit. You can find many of these tools on Lomuntung's web site (see other posts on this site for link).

Finally, to be able to play the CD-R on your PS2, it must be modded/chipped. That is, you must install a modchip, for instance Messiah, DMS or Magic in your PS2. Check the internet for places to buy and mount such a chip. I'm going to have my PS2 modded in Bergen (Norway), and it will cost 1200 NOK (about 150 USD).

I'm in the process of trying all this myself nowadays. I'll let you know what I learn.

Oh, and check out this link for some additional info:

Someone please correct me if some of the information in this post is wrong.

thanks whitestar

it took about 2 weeks for some one to answer my question.
do you need a dvd rom to rip an image to the hard drive.

if its possible could you continue and share your experiences with us or open an idiots guide to white star's do's and donts of patching. would be really helpful

I play WE7, I don´t know that much about ripping PES3 so I won´t make a guide about it.
btw of course you need a DVD rom, the game is on DVD.

Sure I can do that, no problem. But like I said, I'm also new at this so it could take some time to figure things out. So don't hold your breath.
But when/if I am able to burn a CD-R that works, I will provide detailed and precise instructions on how I did it. Because I know all too well how frustrating it can be to read instructions that are unprecise or assume in-depth knowledge.

But first I've got to get my PS2 modded ;-)

I've had my ps2 modded for ages ago and have the ISO image of ps3 (confusion ripp or something) I know how to patch and everything, I did it with WE6. The only thing I'd like to know it's what patch I need! and the tool to do it. at that site I see lots of shit but don't really know what's the right/lastest one. Thx

PS: Norway here as well,Whitestar! :D #ps2.no@Efnet if you'd like to get your ps2 modded as chip as possible.

PS2: :D

PES3: I don't know if you guys have seen this but it's damn funny! http://www.home.no/kyodan/FIFA2004_VS_PROEVOLUTIONSOCCER3.mpg even better if you can spanish as me ;);)

Yeah, that's a really funny movie. :)
Btw, how do you get Confusion rip, and what is it exactly? Is it any different from the rip I get when I rip from my game DVD?

I think it's the same. If you do it the same way they did, I find it easier to download it.
