its big to make it easier for the newcommers to patch
the old patches had you do it all with the tools and that turned into a nightmare because there are too many stupid people trying to play this game that cant figure out the tools or read directions.

this patch is a simple copy/paste over existing files

Anyone know of anywhere else this patch is posted, i dont seem able to get it from boom town!! i get as far as being in the queue and usually around 30 somthing in line, wait ages for it to count me down, get to about third inline and the page redirects me to another part of boomtown unrelated to the patch!!! i then have to go through the whole process again. its already done it five time to me.

I have to add how much i enjoy this enhancement pack!! really, it is exceptional and must have taken a lot of work!

I want to say i thoroughly appreciate your effort in this pack. The PS2 version doesn't touch this now, what a game!

The pitches are much better too, especially stamford bridge, which is more accurate!

The link to Boomtown is a link to 'PES 4: The Wolf Furry Evolution 2005 Patch (Full)'.

If I've read right, this is the newest patch there is? Or am I wrong?

And maybe someone has another link (other than boomtown or filefront) because for some strange reason I can't download from those places...

yes! the 2005 Patch is the latest wolf's patch for PES 4 PC
I don't have any other link, sorry, maybe you're using a download manager or pop-up blocker... try to disable.

have i downloaded the same patch as everyone else ffs? dowloaded it and everyone mentions a readme file which says where to extract the patch, all i get when i click part 1 is an extraction program, i don't see any readme file. so please can someone tell me where i extract the patch too exactly?! thanks

do the extracted files have names?
maybe they overwrite files of the same name somewhere?
I can't be sure, it might be much trickier to do!

Giggsy11, hehe. Yes, it's the same, mate. Just double-click on the 'TheWolf2005EvolutionPatchPES4PC.part01.exe', extract the patch into your PES4 PC folder (or whatever folder you like) by choosing 'Browse' to find your PES4 PC folder, once you've found it, start extracting the patch to the destinated folder by pressing the 'Install' button. Once it's done, just go to the folder you installed the patch to and locate the 'READ ME.txt' file.

There you go. Good luck. By the way... off-topic, yes, but have you done/explored some new FK moves to add to your excellent guide, eh?

NOTE: With all respect to Wolf, he clearly says that we are allowed to use his patch freely, but credits going to him... Well, for those that DO care, you can get other/NEW balls, boots, flags etc. by going to Spark's PES4 PC Files site @ http://pespc-files.soccergaming.com/ - Just to inform you people... Heh.

Heh. This game is being an evil... I've installed the game like you're supposed to, I manage to run the game, do editing, formations etc, but when I start a match, it crashes without any error messages... I know this can be a cause of a downloaded game, but nah, I've bought my game. Oh well, I guess I'll figure it out somehow... Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue as I am..?

if the game runs fine w/o wolfs patches...then go a backlevel on wolfs patches, or just add what kits and items you want manually

Hi, I'm new to these boards and I just wanted to know something.

I've downloaded the 3.25 patch in Winzip. It has the one .exe and 5 rar files in it too.

What do you have to do after that cos ive tried everything and I cant figure out where to put which files. Can someone plz plz just post up the files and where your're supposed to put em cos in each rar file there are diff o_sounds and o_text files but when i try to extract em in they just copy over eachother. Also how do you install the option file correctly.


Sorry for the n00by question. :] :]

Hi d4v1d^, I'll try to explain..
It's very simple to install this patch, you only have to double click the first zip file, you don't need to manually unzip all parts... you have to download em but you only have to unzip the first one. After that you only need to copy and paste (overwriting the exist file) the files to your PES4 folder. (dat folder, I guess, sorry but I'm not at home, I can check it later, If you want). Don't forget to backup the original files before overwrite them!

Got it? It's easy but I have the power to confuse everything and everyone, specially If I have to write in english... hehehehehe
