I know what racism is you silly boy (or rat) I just dont think that Konami would make WE8 better than PES4. Why the hell would they make a game that they only have to translate worse for the european market. Maybe WE8 will be a better game than PES4 but I dont think that they really ment to do that.....

Getting back to the issue here, and not just petty squabbling, it is great to hear that PES4 is going to be more of an update from WE8, not just a poor man's version.

Anyway, is the English league the only one to have updated teams? Will the French and German leagues be updated too, ie this seasons team line-up? And will the licensed leagues be updated, so that we have a 20 team Serie A? If this turns out to be true then it will make my year!

Whoever suggested that Konami deliberately make WE j versions better than PES versions is a moron. At the end of the day, they're trying to sell products, not spoil "their own people". Why on earth would they deliberately make a good product worse just to sell it to other countries?

This is one of the most stupid things I've heard anyone suggest on here. Plus, doing that WOULD be tantamount to racism, the_rat. Deny it if you want, but racism is racial discrimination - by making a game better, on purpose, for Japanese players, it is thus discriminating negatively to other nations, which does constitute a form of racism.

So shut up, and stop talking shit.

We were told that the 40 players could bring one guest and that was it. So the only other people there would be the organisers etc. But one Chelsea fan from the Harrow league had been at the ground for the open day and he just strolled in. So I guess there was a good chance you could have gotten in. But there weren't any signs up when we got there and the stewards gave me some cheek when I asked for the way :rolleyes:

I agree. Konami probably make WE and PES slightly different because they foolishly believe that their is a difference between what the Japanese and the European player wants. I wouldn't say its racism, just piss-poor market research.

The 2 games should be the same to play, and In my opinion should be released on the same date all over the world and have the same name.
