PES 5 and Xbox 360?

Does anyone know if the Xbox 360 will be backwards compatible with PES 5? It would be an incredible shame that after my Xbox 360 purchase I couldn't play my favourite series.

I sold my Xbox just yesterday on eBay.

Yes, the Xbox 360 is backwards compatible, but only with the top selling Xbox games, just a matter if Microsoft thing PES5 will be a top seller (which it should be)

I called the xbox.com helpdesk lately and they told me that most games of the Xbox will be immediately playable on the 360.
However, I talked with somebody who called Xbox.com helpdesk also and they told him that nothing is still known until october, when all personnel of that helpdesk get some kind of course about all aspects of the 360.
So it's unclear because two of those helpdesk said completely different things.
If you know a more reliable source I like to hear it from you :)

Well I sure hope they provide a complete definitive list of games as I would hate to purchase something that didn't work!

I sure hope they support all new titles.

Winning Eleven 7 international, that's the reason bought the PS2 instead of XBOX. Anyway. I got this from IGN .com:

"We know Halo and Halo 2 will be the first playable Xbox games playable on Xbox 360; they are, first and foremost, the top -selling Xbox games, and they're first-party titles. There. That was easy. Other popular first-party games are sure to be included. Which ones? From Microsoft the list is likely to include: Forza Motorsport, Fable, Project Gotham Racing 2, MechAssault and MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf, RalliSport Challenge 1 and 2, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, Amped 1 and 2, and several others.

Most likely, the second wave of compatible games will include the third-party games, such as EA's Madden and NBA Live series, Sega's 2K series (before 2K Games bought Visual Concepts), and a slew of Ubisoft (Tom Clancy games), Tecmo (Ninja Gaiden), Sega (various), LucasArts (KOTOR I and II), Activision (Tony Hawk, Doom 3, etc.), VU Games (Chronicles of Riddick) and Rockstar Games (GTA) tiles."

I just read a lot of articles I found about 360 backwards compatibillity. Used Google and found quite some of those (also in Dutch).
The confusion is all about the emulation code. That is a piece of software that lets the 360 act like the Xbox 1. That way you can play old games at the 360.
Problem is that in the cheap version of the 360 is no harddisk and that is required to put the emulation code at. The premium 360 does have a HD and there is no problem. Practically all game should play on the premium version (the more expensive one).
To use the emulation code on the cheaper 360 version, the emulation-code should be placed on the DVD of the game and therefore the game will be re-released again with the emulation code on the DVD.
That's why Konami said they release PES 5 for the 360 'in 2006', meaning that the users of the cheap version of the 360 can play PES 5 as well. As far as I understand it, PES 5 will be playable from the start at the more expensive version of the 360.

Correct me if you think I mis-interprete the articles :)
