when i play pes5 from pc to my projector i set the game resolution to 1280x720, which is the native resolution of the projector but when you select it in settings in the start menu the game starts up at 640x480, also when you try to change it in the options menu in the game as soon as you apply it the game switches back to 640x480 (very frustrating) does anyone know a solution such as manually editing a game file or something?

I also have a similar problem. I can change the resolution but it is not changing. It says that it is 1024x768 but it is 640x480. I have ati x1800xt 512mb crossfire and I can't understand why this is hapenning....Is this a bug?

alright now have done some research on this topic it seems that it cant be played at 1280x720 as it is not a supported apect ratio had a look on widescreen gaming forums and unfortunately no one knows how to do it so i screwed by the looks but as far as 1024x768 that should work fine it does for me, i am using a nvidia card though so maybe that has to do with your card or drivers maybe.
