PES 5 Help

Hi everyone I'm new here. Anyway I'm planning to buy PES 5 and I downloaded the PC demo. The thing is I find it very difficult to play, sometimes if I pass the ball (short pass) the player just passes into space and the person I'm passing to has to run to get the ball and sometimes the opponent gets it first. So far that's the only problem I'm experiencing and of cos changing the player cursor is not so user friendly.

I wanted to ask how to overcome this and what to do to get a user-friendly gameplay. If u could just brief me on how fun the game is when u get used to the controls and the passing models and everything and what sort of problems do you guys usually experience.

wow a friendly newb.

well really you need to do a lot of practice on to get used to the passing. do quick passing (one touch) and get used to passing the ball to a free man. You cant really overcome your problem (well i dont really face it taht much). you just have to deal with it. once you get used to the passing and "pushing and shoving" pes5 is a really challenging game.

well i dont believe the game cheats.. it's more of "figure-a collide 24,32 with figure-b" and there is a cheap ass foul.
it's not cheating.. more of an advantage for the cpu. but yeh the computer cant win against me.. well it can sometimes (if it's england) but any other team will get slaughtered 5:0 or something

The gameplay is too darn slow.

Worst PES game in the series by far.

I assume you have PES 4 ? if so stick to playing that instead.
If you don't own it , go out and buy it

You're some type of norbert, aren't you. PES5 is the best in series by far. PES4 is like playing a game of pinball - way too fast.

You guys are weird, PES5 is a quality game, anyone that think's it cheats needs more practice. The 6 Star difficultly has been vastly improved in this version and games are far less fixed that previous games... there isn't that finality that there once was.

I mean, how many games have you played a match where you could of sworn that the computer is cheating you, only to score a 90th minute winner! When you think about it, probably as many times as you've been unable to break the deadlock 'cause of the damn CPU "cheats" or as many times as you've lost to the "cheats" scoring their own 90th minute winner.

Its football boys, at its best.
