PES 5 online for PS2???

Have Konami officially announced if PES5 will be online for PS2?

I really hope it is because even though I shouldn't admit it, I really enjoy playing FIFA 2005 online.

If Konami are not going to make it online for PS2 the I will have to seriously consider investing in an X-Box.

Konami haven't officially announced anything yet. Don't bother with getting an XBox, just get a few upgrades for your PC and get that version Much easier to patch and whatnot.

Yes but pes5 on x-box could be a big improvement, dont rule it out just yet. Theres nothing to suggest what it will be like either way so let's wait and see.

Theres no excuse for PES5 not to be online. Konami have had plenty of time, and as a loyal PS2 owner i feel i've been waiting too long. The dreaded GatesBOX would be a last resort for me.

I can't stand playin pes4 on my xbox anymore :realmad: It just doesn't feel anywhere near as good as the ps2 or pc version. The xbox, with it's greater power than the ps2, shud have kicked ass but it's does nothing of the sort. Really hope it is available online for pes5. Think it will be now they've done it with WE8LE, makes sense.

Im pretty sure PES5 will be online for PC, Xbox and PS2. WE8:LE is online so Im guessing Pro Evo 5 will be too.

It will be online for the ps2. Seabass confirmed it ages ago.

Seabass has said many things but they have not came to be true.

THERE IS NO CONFIRMATION YET OF PES5 ONLINE ON PS2.

We can spend all day saying how that since WE8LE is online, then PES5 will be online too, but this is simply not the case. PS2 Online is far more developed in Japan than it is in Europe. In Japan the average connection speed is something like 8mb. But anywho if it is a success online on the PS2 in Japan, then and only then will Konami consider Europe.

Basically it is VERY probable it will be online yes for Pro Evolution Soccer 5, but there is no certainty.
