Thanks Konami for bringing this wonderful game into my life.

Okay now on topic,

My question is about the connection on XBox Live.

From playing PES4 i realised that i couldnt risk challenging someone because there was a chance i was playing someone with a 56k modem and i would lag my self into my own net so i always host matches, i have 2mb (soon to be 10mb when they upgrade their customers :D) with Telewest and was wondering if any of you out there suffer from major lag after halftime even when hosting?

I was thinking at 1st that it was somehow changing connection so my opponent was hosting the 2nd half to make it a bit fairer, but when it went to extratime i was still laggy as hell EVEN! both halfs.

Can anyone shed some light on this at all?

Cheers
Dan

I haven't experienced much lag to be honest this year. PES4 was laggy as, but PES5 runs almost like offline, even when switching sides.

Try to look for player with a good connection before enetring the match. (There's an indicator about connection quality)

However, be careful these days, as in next couple of weeks Xbox Live service is being redesigned and will be "off" for few days. Reason? Xbox360 implementation and some maintenance.

Players will esxperience lag, slowdowns, connection problems etc... but it won't last more than couple of days. If you are Live subscriber, you should receive an email about it.

Cheers.

Yeh thanks for that, i did get a message saying the above but i dont think it would slow the service and anyway i get the lagg even when i host a game.
