PES 6 in Xbox 360. A waste of money?

I'm confused, why would the 360 version not have this feature? When PS2 and XBOX will? Surely with the 360 being more powerful it could have at least the same features and really should have more!!!

I know its wank mate, this really has pissed me off.

It's not as if i'm all for XBOX 360 (don't look at my sig or avatar) I mean I have games like Saint's Row and Dead Rising but I was looking forward to PES 6, I may get it and the normal XBOX version just for the kits etc...

I'm almost 100% sure that PES6 isn't going to be released on the standard XBOX.

I think that the versions people have been playing are the beta ones, therefore, not having a full edit mode or all stadiums. - thats my outlook anyway.

If thats not right then i dont care, u cant use options files online anyway can you? thats the main reason i want it. Enough people moan about it being all about the gameplay on ere then moan when they cant edit the kits.

As for the stadiums, i usually just pick my favourite stadium anyway so i dont really care, makes no difference.

Its just all the sony fanboys trying to start rumours (as someone said earlier) because they're jealous they arnt having a next gen version til next year.

It'd be a bit pointless having a Next Gen version now though wouldn't it.....

I know :crymore: But there will be an update system or something, though a BETA version would not have access to the Full Edit Mode so hopefully your screens are BETA POO

To me, I prefer to wait awhile before buying the new console to give it the time so I'll be sure that lots of people try it and give positive opinions about it i.e. in other words...to be in the safe side...

Edit mode or no edit mode, the AI, and graphics have been built from the ground up for the 360 well worth my money.

Exactly , if it turns out there is no Kit edit mode i really couldnt give a damn.

The reason i love the game is the way it plays , not the kits being worn . The could all be wearing different coloured sacks for tops & penny blacks instead of boots , it would still be the best football game on the market .

I have played the Fifa demo for the 360 , you know the game theyve stripped down to the bare bones for 360 (100x more than no kit edit mode on pes6), and as well as having most of its current gen features/leagues removed, it plays like shit.
Fair enough they have sorted out passing slighty & it feels more responsive . But the step in tackle still doesnt work properly , slide tackling is completely unfathomable and could be a fine tackle one time & a red card the next.
Added to this shootin seems completely random . Shoot and dont hold a direction & your shot will go ontarget (where it will go who knows) , shoot and try to direct your shot by holding a direction & your shot will go wide by miles everytime , Even if you are Ronaldinho 1on1 with the keeper 6 yards out It WILL go wide . then obviously every once in a while you'll hit something & it flies into the top corner , but there is no feeling of accomplishment , only confusion because you done the same thing 2 minutes ago and it went for a throw in . Like i said completely random.

So to close FIFA is shit , it has strips tho so if all you little cry babies are so upset then by all means waste your money

Meanwhile i will be playing the built from the ground up next gen Pro Evo game , i might be playing without real kits but im sure as hell it'll still be a damn site more realistic than Fifa. Oh and ill be playing it on Xbox live & if konami's promises in that department are true then i will be one very happy bunny.

No doubt that the most important thing in any football game is the gameplay and then the tactics, but also the licenses are very important and it changes the shape of the game completely. However, at least, if there are no enough licenses, a fully editable game is our least right.

i totally agree with that comment

you best be able to edit the team names and thngs else tht would piss me off not playing real teams i never no who im playing without deiting them

Think about it people, Not many people have ever had proper kits on PES4 and 5 but they still got on with the game and enjoyed it alot. I only found out about the max drive when I first joined this forum and I played PES4 and PES5 with no proper kits for a long time. The 360 will have alot of licensed teams so I don't see what the big moan is all about.

i have been hearing things like the 360 does not have full editing and stuff like that or it has lesser teams and stadiums. i must say for starters that all this is pure specculation . you cannot be sure untill final version is out and people ho do opst these things cannot be sure if they are a)true or flase and b) if they are based on the final version or some beta version. as far as i know in every seabass interview i have red the past year or so regarding the 360 version he has mentioned nothing of the game laking modes. not once. secondly people must bare in mind that the 360 version isnt some sort of port that was decided with haste at the last moment therefore laking modes might have made sence but the 360 version of the game has been in development more than a year. in the second or first issue of the oficciasl x360 magazine way back before crhistmas last year they had interview of seabass ho said the game was under early development. seabass was also clear that there wasnt a complete re-written next gen version of the game but more of the perfection on 360 of the game engine already in exist. that makes sence because the true next gen version of the game will be next year along with the ps3. so for those ho already have the 360 i think it defenantly is worth getting the game there because its miles better from the ps2 version especially in terms of fluidity and animation and to a smaller degree but still verry clear in graphics. in those wandering if they should get adn x360 just for this game the answer is surelly NO because its not true next gen in order to justify getting an entire machine just for it.
