Pes Commentary

I think using the headset like the one used in Socom U.S. Navy Seals to record your own commentary would be fucking sweet. If you could record the team names and player names in your own voice then everyone's version of PES3 would be unique!
You could even use players nicknames or pronounce a players name in your favourite commentators style. This would make the game much better and add an element of fun into the editing mode.

The WE7 commentary name for van Nistelrooy cracks me up. He says "Van Meestelrooom" and I can't help laughing!"

Hopefully PES3 will have a slightly better name for him or I won't be able to play well against the mighty Holland! :)

The one that made me laugh is the PES2 name for Ryan Giggs. In the first game he was called Gregs, which was pretty good, but in the second one they topped that with Gigsi!

I think it's safe to say that most of us mastered PES2 now so we're getting ready for PES3. There's some funny stuff in this thread.

If you don't want to talk about the commentary then don't read this thread. Just because we can have a laugh about the commentary it doesn't mean we can't play the game properly. The commentary is poor, so we might as well have a joke about it rather than let it annoy us.

In what way ;) :p

You can edit all details for all players, including commentary names. I'm not sure if there will be anything closer to his real name but what fake names they do use now are better than the numbers they had in PES2.

But some people might want it 2 say the players shirt number than the fake name so u can just do that

Maybe some people might. After nearly a year of shirt numbers for the Dutch, I don't mind listening to "van Mistelrooom" :)

In WE7, Cafu is "Cahu", sounds like a sneeze.
Hopefully PES3 will pronounce it a little better.

I thought the Brazilians were on board in terms of licensing in WE7, so no fake names.
