lol, I actually still like the pes engine, they just need to fix the AI, make it a lot harder to score goals

Don't you think its just a tad premature. Personally, i've loved the PES series since the beginning, and i wouldn't want them to overhaul anything too drastically. Just add to it piece by piece, i don't want a game thats totally unrecognisable from the PES that i know and love.

I agree, personally I think if they just change something as small as the players being able to run in 360 degrees, instead of the 32 angles engine they have in place now would ruin the game for me. It would feel like fifa if they ever change that.

Epic games have been stating the Unreal 3 engines flexibility and see it being used in more than just fps. I think half the problem is people expect PES to have graphics similar to Gears of War and Crysis.

That is sick !! How real does that game look !. The crowd, the players, everything. That couldn't get much better. If PES reaches anywhere near that level by 2011 ill be well chuffed.

what? imo pes 09 looks better than that. only the first 3 rows of the crowd are detailed and the court looks crap.

I agree, Konami should stick to their roots.. However, Completely Updating -and- Improving the Animations can Only help the game for the better.

How cool would it be if we had the same Classic Gameplay -with- Realistic Movements.. No more awkward and unrealistic Movements, etc, etc.. The game can Improve a Lot in that Aspect.

Also, an even better system for Stats and Special Abilities wouldn't hurt..

Remember people, this are Next Gen Consoles, we should get our money's worth.. Not just some PS2 games with Updated Graphics.

PES09 sounds and Looks like a brilliant game -but- we shouldn't get stuck on that. We have seen enough "Evolution" -maybe- it's time for a "Revolution".

There's nothing wrong about Demanding something Revolutionary -because- Next Gen Consoles are easily capable of it. Maybe some excuses where Legit before -but- with Next Gen Consoles, there's really no room for Excuses.

Nevertheless, I'm looking forwards to PES09.. Hope it doesn't disappoints.
