Well after a disappointing outing with PES 2008 ( thanks to the high PES standards ) I believe PES 2009 has put Konami on the right track again.

Judging by the new videos released, by Adam and Suff's previews, by the CL comfirmation, Be a Legend, and nicely improved garphics PES is still king. The new videos on IGN show how much the gameplay has improved, and tbh I didnt realize just how fast PES 2008 was until I saw those 4 new videos.

Good job Konami ( for going back to PES5 ).
