With 12 days for the game to hit stores, does anyone know if the NA version will have updated roasters?

NO ...According to the history of Konami.It the same version as EU Version . It's just a little change in cover design , and release day .

But I hope the NA version would the best one because online in U.S is the best

and also don't worry bro. if they update the rosters and the squads,teams,kits,boots or anything like that games in us will be updated to so its pretty much the same

It's very possible. Last year it came patched but I guess it's not shocking since it released 1/2 a year later so you got that one wrong vietfan.

I heard the PS2 release already contains the update and since we're getting it after the PS2 release it makes sense to release an updated version. I don't care either way, no biggy downloading updates for me.

konami seem confused....i saw an ad on espn today that said pes 2009 OUT NOW! Gamestop had said that it was out 11/11, then 10/28 now 11/11 again...what the fuck?

I also saw the Messi ad during Chelsea vs Sunderland. First Pes ad I've ever seen in Canada! The "out now" got my hopes up :(

I don't get these people. If it's the same exact game, why does it take them an extra month to release it in the US? Is it a matter of incompetence? Or do they somehow financially benefit by releasing it so much later?

Oh be quiet!!! us brits have all those late cinema/dvd even most game releases so i dont see how you can complain.

but i dunno why... different territory? PAL NTSC although i think there is not much difference now as before...

I can't wait either! But I'm assuming they are trying to get people to pre-order or something like that. Because usually it should say "out in stores now".

I was watching fox soccer too, and once i saw the ad, I jumped to my laptop to check it and called gamestop. but was disappointed too.

One more week!

konami are fuckin with us...and its working! they lie and change the release dates to get us all excited and we fall for it...im pretty ashamed of myself, konami should be more ashamed tho

Konami never mentioned a release date. Only GameStop/EB games had the date at 10/28 a few weeks ago. IGN, Amazon, etc all kept it at 11/12.

I agree we should get the game at the same time as the UK, but in the end, i'm more then happy to wait a few extra weeks compared to a 1/2 year. I imported last year because of the difference in release dates.

We have a week left... no worries

bought it thr, and played it tiill the NA version came out...

Anyone know if the EU version will be compatible with US version ONLINE? Maybe just adding a US server to the list online.

im not sure, i doubt it personally...either way with the responses here about online it probably wouldnt be worth it and lag like crazy...anyone on this site live in nyc? i figure thats the only way it will be without lag, let me know....PS3 id ganan69

Would be nice if we had same release date but remember we get just about every other game and movie before they do. Pes is just 1 rare occasion so I can't believe some people are bitching and moaning (not you). A month apart is not bad at all. I never understood why we used to have to wait 1/2 a year though, really stupid decision if you ask me.
