Yeah I got a Logtech Dual action game pad for $20.00 at EB Games, but I'm having trouble configuring the controls, like the directional pad it doesn't seem to work and I don't think it's the controller it's the configuration, I went into the controller menu in game but I couldn't get it to work right.

Make sure its all configured properly in Control Panel first the go into C:/Program Files/Konami/Pro Evolution Soccer 4 then double click settings. You should be able to configure it from there. Make sure you have it set up so the directional pad is the 'Hat Switch'.

Yeah, I that's the first thing that I did was to make sure that the game pad was confgured right in CP, then I tried in-game, but now thanks to you I've got a bead on the d-pad, now when I'm in-game I would like for the left button (forgot weather it's circle or square etc.) to be long pass instead of pause/menu how would I go about configuring this?

Its a PS2 to USB converter, mine was £5 from eBay.
