this thread is for what you think of all of the past pro evo soccers.
peeps have talked about why they dislike certain aspects of the games but you can use ONE WORD ONLY or A SMILIE to explain what you think.

i explained it pretty shite so i show you my example:-

PES - :D

PES2 - :cool:

PES3 - :mellow:

PES4 - :D

PES5 - :eek: (amazing)

PES4 compared to PES5 and PES2 was a truly awful game. Scoring from 40 yards was too easy. The ball just used to float over 'keepers.

PES3 (and PES1 to some extent) played similarly to PES5 so how can you hate 3 so much?

I liked 3 and 4 and although I don't hate 5, it has a lot of annoying features.

Like the referee's blowing the whistle if you run past a player and the wind knocks him down. Very annoying.

i dont like it because it seemed slow, i cant remember exactly the reason but I just didnt like it

I think everyone has been good for that time and age - its Evolving like it says on the tin.

All versions are cool but you cant compare this one to one a few years back as pay-on rules and non-involved offsides have not long been in force etc.....

The biggest leap IMO was from 2 - 3.
PES3 is still my fav out of the 5.

Yes ok PES5 is more realistic etc.. but like Zyg said it has its annoyin features

Yeh i think it does improve on the realism with every installment. But sometimes that can be a bad thing.
Remember how easy the through balls were in Pro 4, well they've made them alot more realistic in this one but as a result because their harder more and more opponents i play just run down the wing and cut it back and it just becomes very boring

Exactly the same opinion there. I lent pro evo 4 to a mte about a month before 5 came out. I was, as a result playing pro 3, and to my surprise, it was pretty much perfect (gameplay wise) in my opinion. I never really liked pro 4 much anyway, just goalfests when playing with friends.

In terms of realism PES5 is definitely tops.

It seems that the series is becoming more of a simulation than an arcadey football game - but the realism now means that it is reaching a wider audience.

If you didn't want a realistic game, you'd play FIFA. Pro is about realism and that's why 5 is the best, as it is the most realistic.

my favourite is 3 and 5, they both are quite similar so I don't understand the thread starter. I think the pace on 3 was more accurate than on 5 actually, you really could build up play better, but 5 is the better all around game I think

In my opinion, 5 is getting me thinking harder tactically than any of the others ever did.

Also, why was 5* so easy on 4?

I like pro evo 5 the best beacuse its much harder, I used to play six stars on pro evo 4 all the time and i used to win all the games, but now on pro evo 5, i still find it hard beating 4* teams

When you watch real life football, it is a simulation, it is also a form of entertainment..............

I use the pass button to do through balls instead of using the through ball button.
