PES series will never be the same

Yup you read the title right. Why?

For example: PES 2009 TOTALLY blows FIFA 09 demo and PES 2008 AWAY, yet it is still criticised!

PES 2009 is PES5/6 with AMAZING graphics ( you need to see it in motion if you have not played it yet ) and the gameplay is superb this year. Mid-field play is actually back. Slow player ( Figo, Pirlo ) will actually make a be effective now!

Anyway.....It's a bit funny to me how FIFA 09 is still not even close to the gameplay of PES5 ( meaning its far worse then pes 2009 ) and yet ppl are always saying "EA" is making "GREAT STRIDES".

A more fair criticism would be that KONAMI is LAZY.....they created a great engine for gameplay ( and this year graphics ) and are now collecting fortunes off of it.

Point is....KONAMI may be LAZY...but my money doesnt go to the company that INNOVATES the most, it goes to the company that has the best game on the market, which is CLEARLY PES 2009.

Dont get me wrong here, I'm all for Konami to make bigger strides and leave fifa in the dust again...and I hope they manage to and even tho they have been slipping, they still make the best football title!

People are always ready to critcise PES.. but this time they made a great work IMO.. It feels like real football even though it is still a demo ...
AI improved a lot, AI defence doesn't give great opportunities especcially RB and LB s .. Thats why people using flanks only get furious..
guys PEs is a game whitout any schedueles , plans, system for goals like FIFA.. none of goals resemble to each other.. Every game has its own distinctions, Try to man mark the opponents best player.. YOu'll definetely see how game differs.. I nevver used a man-mark before cuz AI was insufficent, but from now on, it is SO SO effective...

yeah dude....PES 2009 is definitely the best pes imo. The first pes to better the 5th version.....its past due time but at least we have it now, especially after last years disaster!

So i have high hopes for PES2010 because we might see a complete rebuild, for the PS3. IT being the 3rd installment on a next gen console, lets just hope they follow the same pattern as they did for the PS2.

I think PES09 is amazing. I will admit that this year FIFA has made a big improvement as wel, however for me it just is never up the standard PES creates in gameplay aspects.

Yeah they said they would be creating a new engine for 2010, but they will be using the 360 dev kit software if they have any brains, it's so much easier to use and offers a lot more options, people keep raving about which is better, but both consoles version of the game is the SAME. You really think Konami would alienate one set of next gen fans to please the other?? No they want to keep all the buyers happy.

personally i think the demo shits on anything they have brought out in a long time, that includes full releases in england and abroad. i know the full game will be different as it always is, the demo would of been made months ago while they were still completing the finished article. canth wait for it too be honest.
