I remember playing the international superstar soccer 64 and thinking just how ahead of its time it was. It gave you full control almost all the time. Then when it went to the playstation i would hear guys talk about it but stuck with fifa. Then i played the first game and was angrily impressed, being a huge fifa fan at the time i didn't want to like it, the way they turned, the animations, everything was just near perfect. Then the second game came out and it was more rigdet, suiting the dribbling style of play, i bought the second game months after its release and couldn't stop playing it. The things that annoyed the hell out of me where the things that fifa had. Good, if you can put up with Andy grey, well lets say realistic commentry and everything else it had. But i had skipped the fifa games. I did not own a playstation 1, i stuck to my nintendo 64. Fifa 98, the only good thing, you could play indoors, then came 99, i bought that, my friends bought 2000, i stuck with ISS64, they bought 2001, again i stuck with ISS64. Then with the playstation 2 coming out i switched to Fifa, i thought for good. Looked at pro evo 3 and was dissapointed, something for me wasn't right, it was like a step down, although i know others consider it the best Pro evo game. Pro evo 4 came out in 2004, it competed with fifa 2005, which was no different from 2004, it was clear it was no contest, i didn't even touch my fifa that year after a month of having it. Fifa 2003 i must say though, was a great game, the best, for me in its series. I did not want fifa 2006, but it was bought for me as a present, pro evo completely ruled that year, that game for me was the perfect football game for its era. Then came fifa 2007, it was faster, but still nowhere near pro evos game, the animations looked like the real players, but that was it, great commentary, but it had been that way for the last 5 years of fifa games. Who cares. Then we move to PS3, Pro evo apparently scrapped there whole engine, in hearing this is became nervous, what if it isn't the same? i thought, well fifa 2008 and pro evo came out around the same time, within a month and that year fifa pipped it. But only because pro evo was so bad, it had that 360 thing, but it wasn't for me. Then 2009 comes around, i remember seebass "we changed the game completely, but that isn't it, wait till next year" i waited, played the demo and had to "wait" another year. Time has flown by and i didn't buy fifa 2009, because its basically the same animations as 2002, fixed animations, i didn't buy pes 2010 because it was nowhere near what i wanted. So here i am, by the way i have lerked this site for about 4 years. Physiques were the reason pes was popular, not creases on shirts, not offical kits, we put up with the "god" mode the computer went through (that i believe excists) . Now im fed up, like some on here. Im 90 percent sure after seeing that teaser, that im going to have to wait another 12 months, or mabie 3-4 years, for anything near the golden days of PES.

Wanted to register and say that for years, i feel better now
