Pes09 Ign Review!

It still is easy! It frustrates me so much when people say FIFA is realistic. My idea of football isn't a through ball to a fast striker and then a one-on-one shot against the keeper. That is how to score in FIFA 95% of the time. Try it and you will win every game online.

Do that against someone who has set up their def properly and can defend properly and that wont happen, as i have said have the controls on manual and just getting that ball through with the right weight and direction will be hard enough let alone finishing it.pes is by far the greatest last gen footy sim. . . . .by a long long way but its transition has been poor hopefully they will sort it out for 2010 or even 11 just as long as they do!

I have with Ronaldo.

You can't with Henry because his stats have gone awful. He really sucks now.

I just feel the core game is the same. Animation, passing, A.I. Its just so last gen. It feels more restrictive then ever and in some ways more scripted too. The overall feel of the game seems like a low budget footy game. PES has never been like that.

I've loved all the ISS/PES games until Next-Gen happened. Its just a woeful attempt to be honest.

But thats just my opinion

I never knew that the massive lack of licenses and crappy self created music made it a big budget game :unsure:

Pes was always a low budget game man and it always will be. Lets hope that changes with 2010 :happy:

Try Fifa 09, it's very good.

Fifa09??, Fraid not, never has been my kind of football game. The last time I bought Fifa was back in 1996 for the PS2, it was Fifa 97 back then and i was disappointed then as well.

After having played PES for as long as it's been around from the ps1 days I doubt I will ever buy Fifa.

I also hate the fact that you cannot use 'D pad' to control the players, a real pet hate of mine.

I stopped reading about 1 minute in when I seen the writer say "PES's player models have refined little over the years". This year's player models and likenesses are beyond outstanding to be honest, so I immediately knew this writer was spouting shite.

That's the problem with PES reviews, we all know it takes weeks to really learn, understand and enjoy the game. But once it clicks, it is tremendous. These reviewers might have 1 day with the game, how can they expect to click with the game after a few hours play ?

Exactly.thats been the case with all the pes games.Plus the gameplay got 9/10 which is the most important thing
