PES2008, Change It???

I'm getting really annoyed with people who keep saying PES needs to ass new features like interaction with players or places where you can talk to the press or give a player praise. The people who say these sorts of things are pretty crazy, because.....

First and foremost, PES is a football game, NOT a football management game. There should be tactics and form and salaries and what not but you should not be able to manage your club. There are games like FM and LMA for that. People want to play football games like PES because they are (relatively) simply to just pick up and play and he simplicity of 'Master League' is what makes PES sooooooo much better than Fifa. You don't want to have to praise Castolo and Jaric every match and talk to the newspapers about them do you??? (rhetorical)

PES should just stick to what it is good at and just tweak the things that it is rubbish at, like,
The Online play,
The lack of depth in 'Edit',
You should be able to play with "Pro Evo Original Line-Up" in 'Cup' and 'League' modes.
There should be more varibility in kits (design) and which stadiums as well (including weather, they should have snow!)
And, most importantly, they should make it harder. I am no PES God, i just play basic football around the AI and, in my first season in D2, (with all of the 'Other Teams B' and the bottom 8 of 'Other Teams A', i cam 1st with 74 points, only losing 6 matches! Oh, and i didn't say i made NO transfers whatsoever.
They should put more teams in it, i don't mind as much about the names, but the greats like, "Coventry City" (wink wink) and more national teams too.
They could have Preliminaries for the World Cup and who can not argue that there should be play-offs in the lower leagues, no just the top 3 advancing!!!
There should be an A1, A2, A3, A4 and then the same with B1, B2, B3, etc etc. Not just, A1, B1, C1, D1, then, whichever league you choose to try and get promoted to with a 2 on the end. I could real off suggestions and thought all night long, there are so many incy wincy little things that could be made better!

Look! I love PES2008 but suggested here are tons of improvements that they should make, oh yes, but the Ref's are crap in this one and there should be an infinite amount of reply saves and they should also introduce "Match" 'saves' where you can save an entire match.

DOES ANYONE OUT THERE AGREE???

Cheers,

Carlos

a bit. u say newspaper interviews etc are useless and i would agree but if they could make it so stuff like that and other things you get money from doing them then it would be good becuase lets face it. most play master league basically for the transfer window so doing things on the side would be alright if you got cash out of them cos then you'd have an income outside of the matches. season ticket price?

i just had a great idea! you should be able to have a youth acadamy! it would be great developing players in the training ground to later be used when their ready and you could get a message from your coach saying their ready to make the step up and other teams could by your youth players if your willing to sell.

i thinks its 1 of the best ideas so far, trying not to sound arrogant

No way, sorry, a football game is a game in which you play football. Not managing youth teams and press conferences. People play PES for the enjoyment of playing as a team, not managing it! If you want to do that, buy FM or LMA.

cheers

At least listen and take on board the guys idea. I honestly think your talking a lot of garbage. Every footie game gets boring after a while and extra things are needed to keep the playability there. Things such as management and so on in ML. I personally think Muzza's idea is pretty decent and it would be a welcome addition in my book. Anything would to be honest. PES needs all it can get.

I understand and agree somewhat that PES is not a management game but it is just as much fun doing transfers and other business end stuff. If we are talking next gen we cant talk just tweaking graphics and gameplay. Games nowadays need depth and longevity especially sports titles. In PES2008 for example you can go from mediocrity to superclub in 2 seasons, without the need to spend money and gets boring quickly.
