I have a question, When I put the v1.1 or v1.2 Konami Patch on my game, and this is after I start the game and test it before I put the Konami patch in, it says, "PES 2008 not installed" but it runs without the Konami patch, PES 2008 is installed though, any ideas??

Sorry, I haven't downloaded/installed the official patches myself since I've heard some bad reactions towards them.
But I do know from other users that this Championship Patch works perfectly with or without the official patches.

I think you should ask this in the PC Troubleshooting thread as they have a broader knowledge than me on this type of situation.

Good Luck with it. ;)

This patch doesnt have a scoreboard, but some of my graphics are located in one of the scoreboard .bin files.
To fix this, all you have to do is re-install the scoreboard patch you have installed previously on top my files, and everything should be fine.
All I had in those .bin slots are SkySports replay logos.

Let me know how it goes.

I dont want to sound like an idiot but how can I reinstall my scoreboard all together to just have the default one? I'd rather have that then a messed up one :p. Thanks

All you have to do to get your scoreboard back to the original state is to re-download the very same scoreboard patch (if you haven't already deleted it), then install it like you normally would.

If you want the the default scoreboard, you would have to re-install my patch on fresh .img files which can be found on your PES2008 DVD/ISO.

Sorry I didn't explain it better before but if you still have any problems, don't hesistate to ask.

Good luck. ;)

After I installed some scoreboard and ball patches, I found all the badges are resumed to the original one. All Championship league teams are assigned with French badges. How can I solved it or which file should I have to import again to fix it?

Many thanks!!

Can you send me the links to the patches you installed?
A simple scoreboard or ball patch should not affect the badges in any way.

Are you sure these ball and scoreboard patches are all that you have downloaded?

Thanks Decks, I forgot the link, but i was downloaded them from www.gamingaccess.com. I restored some of my backup, I found it's the scoreboard caused the problem. Any suggestion to be able have the new scoreboard AND your wonderful club badges?

Ohhh, I remember now. Some scoreboard patches requires you to replace the badges to actual abreviation texts of certain team names only for it to appear on the scoreboard.

Sorry to say but you would have to choose between that scoreboard or the Championship Patch because the emblem .bin files clash.
Or you can search for alternate scoreboards that does not alter the emblem .bin files.

Thanks again Decks, how can i know which scoreboard does not alter the emblem .bin files? I am now giving up the scoreboard & prefer your badges....... still hope to have some new scoreboard.

Go for the scoreboards that uses emblems instead team names.
I know this style of scoreboard would make it less pleasant to look at, but this is the only way to preserve the badges to their clubs.

Alternatively, you can use the very same scoreboard but you would have to edit the badges into the team names/abbreviations itself.
You would need Photoshop and GameGraphicStudio to do this.
Photoshop to make the letters, and GameGraphic to alter the Alpha Channels.
This would make the badges in team selection texts instead of emblems though.

Hope this helps you.

Open AFS_Explorer and simply load your cv_0.img, then drag the appropriatte .bin files one by one from the "misc\X-BOX Gamepad\cv_0" folder (From my patch folder) to the matching numbered .bin file displayed on AFS_Explorer.
Now do the same for rv_e.img

Hope this helps, and let me know how it goes.
