Does anybody have a clear idea what e can expect in the news game? Last years offering was simply shocking. A handfull of generic stadiums that looked like nothing any of the world's top 10 football grounds.

I read that Anfield, The Emirates, Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge and Wembley would feature from the UK this year. But then I've also read that only Wembley will be added to last years poxy list of grounds.

I've also read the game will feature and option whereby you can create your own grounds!?

What is true? Anybody know for sure??

There have been tons of threads about this, just do a bit more searching in the forums.

This is the 1st thread I've seen about stadiums in PES2009 and I don't think Konami have said anything about stadiums except the new Wembley Stadium.

Konami are always keeping info under their hats, i'm sure we will find out the day before pes 2009 is released or when the demo comes out, all i know is that wembley has been confirmed.

I meant no offense in this off course, i just wanted to highlight him that there have been several others threads about this.

As far as i am aware the only 2 stadiums that have been confirmed are Wembley and the Olimpico Stadium in Torino.

I'd assume the 15 from PES2008 are in, plus Wembley stadium which makes 16. I've heard that there will be 22 stadiums in the game so that would mean 6 more as yet unidentified, assuming the 22 is correct.
I was expecting something similar to the 30-35 stadiums that were in PES6 (PC/PS2).

Ahhhh come on Konami, only 6 more? that sucks big time, fifa added 15 the last year, how come Konami only added 6...I reckon it's going to be wembley, and the official stadiums of Qatar, Iceland, Hong Kong, Barbados and Singapore...sigh

it just adds to the atmosphere knowing you are playing chelsea at the bridge etc. I got a mini orgasm when I saw they included the bernabeau last year, to me knowing I'm pummeling Real Madrid at the bernabeau is just so more satisfying than pummeling Real at some generic stadium.

AND FINALLY! the grass looks green as it should in PES09, the color of the grass always bothered me in PES games. I think PES09 is going to be class all the way through, it looks pretty sweet!

if they had more grounds then it would add to the feel of home and away games. the stadiums don't get noticed because its got no feel of travelling to an away match. for instance if white hart lane was included i'd go through everyone else and make sure i was the only team using it. (when i was spurs i mean)

also it would be neat to have the venue for the european cup final announced at the start of the new master league season. instead of it just being random.

Now that is a teriffic idea, it's just these small touches that will make the whole atmosphere of the game absolutely brilliant. Like you said announce the WEFA cup final venue at the start of the season etc.

I would also like them to include morale in Master league, the higher the players morale are the faster their stats increase, the better his form etc.

Do you guys know if the chants we can import into PES09 will be team orientated or stadium orientated, if they are stadium specific it would be absolutely useless, then we are going to have to listen to the Man Utd chant when they aren't even playing etc. I know this seems obvious, but hey...it's Konami...lol
